Here's the definition of a cult: –noun 1. a particular system of religious worship, esp. with reference to its rites and ceremonies. 2. an instance of great veneration of a person, ideal, or thing, esp. as manifested by a body of admirers: the physical fitness cult. 3. the object of such devotion. 4. a group or sect bound together by veneration of the same thing, person, ideal, etc. 5. Sociology. a group having a sacred ideology and a set of rites centering around their sacred symbols. 6. a religion or sect considered to be false, unorthodox, or extremist, with members often living outside of conventional society under the direction of a charismatic leader. 7. the members of such a religion or sect. 8. any system for treating human sickness that originated by a person usually claiming to have sole insight into the nature of disease, and that employs methods regarded as unorthodox or unscientific. In my opinion, ZetaTalk, Nancy and her followers, closely resemble items 2, 3, 4, 6 and to lesser degrees 5 and 8. A voice of reason in a world of woo-woos. |

Those comments were made in July/August 2007. It will take some time, but I can dig them up if you really want to deny it. The nutjob Debunkers don't know how I operate, If I say jump they will jump I guess Quoting: Free StoreHow are we nutjobs, Free Store? So far, "debunkers" are 100% accurate about "Planet X." And unless you have concrete and verifiable evidence to show otherwise, "debunkers" will continue to be 100% accurate. And, no, I wouldn't do anything you told me to do. Quoting: Earth420I'm sure the people of Jonestown and Heaven's Gate said the same thing. Those IN the cult are the first to deny it. Wow... and what happened to those people? There has NEVER been a mention of us commiting suicide now has there? Yet you are trying to group us with them? We arent going to commit suicide... Tho I know some people wish we would... we arent going anywhere... Peace People in Jonestown or Heavens Gate didn't kill themselves - they were killed/murdered. They thought, following the words of their cult leader, that there was no other solution - they believed that what was being done to them was the right thing. They were so brainwashed they thought they would be saved by dying. Most people in Jonestown were brutally murdered, they were threatened with guns and there was no escape. There were lots of children too, brutally murdered. Some people were not there when Jim Jones got totally crazy and so they survived. Some of those people really woke up after the massacre and admitted they had been involved in a cult. |

Nancy may not have called for suicide but she did tell people they should get themselves fixed and kill their pets. Fortunately she has few followers, and hopefully none of them are gullible enough to actually do it. I've worked with ex cult members and the above comment is very consistent with classic cult member justification of the cult. |

What you should be worried about his how much time you've wasted following Nancy only to be lied to time and time again. How many times has she had to change her claims about when the "pole shift" would happen? Numerous times...and she's about to change it again because 2012 is approaching and there's still no sign of "Planet X." Also it was used as a tool against me for so long so I had to go to the RCMP and tell them if I go missing start with the Debunker posts Quoting: Free StoreIt was not used as a tool against you and you did not go to the RCMP. If you did, they certainly didn't take you seriously and no threats were ever made towards you by any "debunker." You were the ones making the threats to harm yourself.
