CB--Just out of curiosity, what's with all the posts on the Zetatalk thread? That was the shortest ZetaTalk session yet until you started bumping it. Is the boycott over?


I was wondering the same thing. There was only 4 pages, now
there is almost double that. Even if the boycott is over I'm
still not going to post to her threads. It's a waste of time
anyway and all they do is use it to crow about the attention
they get.

No Melfy the boycott is still in effect indefinitely. In saying that though.....Any poster is free to post in any thread they so desire. Unless you can give me some solid evidence to the contrary there is NO set rule on GLP about where one may post.

You're wrong. I sit on the train ride home at least three days a week with a Ph.D. micro-biologist who is doing vaccine research on the flu on a government grant/contract. Like most of these dudes (including my younger sister who is also a Ph.D. micro-biologist), he chose his field because he loves research and discovery, and dreamed of finding - or at least contributing to - a cure for cancer. He's not at all "thrilled" to be doing vaccine research - which he concedes is not a "silver bullet" even in the best of circumstances, but he's doing it because "nothing else is getting funded" these days. HIS WORDS.
Yes - most people were, at one time in their youth, idealistic and ambitious. But then like most, they "grow up", have kids, get a BIG mortgage, and ...

It seems to me that the 'bunkers' spend far more time on Nancy's threads discussing (and ranting against) the 'debunkers' than they do discussing ZetaTalk. Odd that.

They don't seem interested in attempting to verify what Nancy writes - all they wish to do is be involved in a kind of playground name-calling exercise. Further evidence of their infantile mentalities. They are perfectly happy to ignore the glaring discrepancies in Nancy's bullshit, as long as they can feel 'belonging' to a cult of similar imbeciles.

I'm waiting to see if User will respond to some of my points and actually enter into a civil discussion. After all, he claimed that's what he's looking for in one of his posts from yesterday. So far, it appears the only form of "honest discussion" he wants is from fellow supporters. How is that an honest or balanced discussion? It isn't...it's a biased one.
