A "lie" is a lie only if there is a possibility of anyone thinking it is the "truth". Otherwise, it is a form or sarcasm. Surely NO ONE would think for a minute that Hap "really" is designated "Agent 88" by anyone other than me, and Piscesnator who originally came up with it. It's like saying "your mother is a snake". It may be unflattering, but it's not a "lie" - because it's OBVIOUSLY untrue.
