ZetaTalk CANNOT be rationally debated because it is a Cult of irrational beliefs.

Well, to me, it says the only way to stop being called a name is by agreeing with "debunkers." That's the same mentality that Nancy (and to some degree ZetaMax) has exhibited. If we don't believe her, then we're called shills and government agents. The only way to stop that is to agree with her. I thought "debunkers" claimed not to be of that same mindset.

I don't allow it to become serious, otherwise I'm as trapped by their cult as they are!

Time will inexorably prove Nancy to be nothing other than a font of prime bullshit - and trying to argue rationally with bunkers is like slowly inserting a needle into one's eye.

Yes, trust Luser to spew his intolerance and anger in the most inappropriate of places. I appreciate that Max has laid off the cartoons and is engaging in real discussion and we are trying to be civil and respectful of each other. Kudos to Max. Credit where credit is due. Yesterday morning, as I was doing my run, I started thinking about Nancy's claims about the Earth being "halted in orbit" and that it was "wobbling." It came to mind because I've been noticing how much darker it is when I start compared to just a month ago. For one thing, a month ago it was twilight. Not particularly bright...but enough light to shut off the street lights. Now, it's dark and the street lights are still on. Obviously, if Earth were halted in orbit, that wouldn't be possible. Sunrise and sunset times would not change. In addition, if Earth were actually "wobbling" as Nancy and Gerard claim, then sunrise and sunset times would vary. For example, as we continue moving towards winter the days get shorter. Sunrise occurs later and sunset occurs earlier...both changing by about a minute every day or so. Here in Colorado Springs, sunrise and sunset times for this week are as follows:

Now, if Earth were wobbling unpredictably then the times might look something like this:

Of course, Nancy and Gerard can claim that Earth wobbles back into position so that sunrise and sunset times are correct where I'm located. I suppose that could be possible...although unlikely. At any rate, even if what they claimed were actually happening, it wouldn't explain why sunrise and sunset times remain accurate at other locations around the globe.

There is no way to have the various MANY, MANY various indicators be correct if Earth is halted in orbit. That's why Max invented his "screen memories" thing. It covers all those bases. Truth is, there is no real way it could be hidden. Certainly not by artificially tilting the Earth as Nancy claims. That is just stupid.

Since the discussion was in this thread, didn't concern him or anything Nancy said, and was civil in nature, I can't see why he couldn't have just kept out of it. If he wanted to join in, why couldn't he have done so without the sarcasm or vulgarity? It supports our claim that he isn't capable of civil discussion...something he claimed he was looking for a few pages back.

You're going back to 2007 to support your unsupportable non-stop name-calling? I think the Statute of Limitations has run out on statements that dated.

I guess that means that anything Nancy wrote prior to 07 is outdated and therefore not worthy of commenting on.

"Facts" are different - they don't have an expiration date.

I believe you have a valid point. If we shouldn't be dredging up comments made by either Max of Nancy that are a few years old to support our position, then why should Max be using material several years old to support his claims?
