Prof. Rabbit,
Now that you have joined the GLP group,I find that you are located in Australia. I wonder if you might provide some information?
My wife won a 1 week trip to Australia for 2 this year. We are going in May 2010 (middle of fall your season) and she's taking me!!! ;o)
I have extended our vacation by 2 weeks. If i'm going that far, I want to look around. Landing in Sydney, leaving from Sydney.
We are looking for things to do, down under and I hoped you might give me a perspective from one who lives there.
Some things to do on our walkabout? ;o)
If it's not appropriate to continue this in thread, please PM me at your convenience.
Kindest Regards

Ummm....

I'm in Canada, never been to the Lone Star state.

I noticed Australia is a pretty good size island ;o)

The Provinces of BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba are about the same size as Australia. Or at least the distance across those 4 provinces out of our 10 (near as I can figure).

3 weeks in total, but our bed is in Sydney for the first week.

Can't see all of Australia this trip and probably won't be there again, so, I'm looking for suggestions on the highlights that interest the Australian folks and expect to use their train system to get around.
(Not too keen on Tourist traps)

That's why I posted, (even though I'm off topic)

Any suggestions appreciated, just PM me.

Kindest Regards
J.William Dell
