You see what happens when we get non native people moving here to Canada.They bring their fears along.

The bunnies are a problem in the town I live in. They are everywhere. It has become such a problem, they wreak havoc in the orchards and vinyards, veggie gardens. They are not a native species, we have them because idiots buy little bunnies when they are cute and then set them free when they grow up and aren't so cute anymore. A couple of years ago some of us tried to get permission to cull them and the bunny lovers staged a protest. Fortunately last winter was very cold and lots of them died, haven't seen as many this year, but bunny in my yard is a dead bunny. As a neighbour said at a town hall meeting, bunnies are cute vermin. They are tasty in stew with bannock.

Yeah, people like you. I for one am native and have a house on the reservation. We are all for culling the rabbits because they don't belong here.

Perceived color and actual color are two different things. Your eyes are not capable of accurately judging the color of the sun nor are they able to look at the sun for anything more than a glance.

If the sun had changed (i.e., brighter), perceived colors of grass, tree leaves, or anything illuminated by sunlight would be different. Color temperature of the light source has a noticeable effect on the color of an object seen by your eyes. That's why colors look different when illuminated by different light sources (sunlight, florescent light, incandescent light, etc). All of those light sources have a different color temperature (sunlight 5500 to 6000 K, incandescent bulb 2700 to 3300 K, etc.). If the sun was "brighter" it's color temperature would change and all things seen under sunlight would show a definite shift.

As for your eyes, they are less able to tolerate bright light as they age.

Well Mr FrEaKy we are referencing New Zealand here and yes we have an unwanted over population of wild rabbits problem. Our border controls, preventing the introduction of any other unwanted new species of anything, are working very effectively. Large fines and even terms of imprisonment can await those that seek to break or ignore our border quarantine laws.

I assume you refer to pine beetle infestation. Here is what Parks Canada has to say about the pine beetle in the Kooteneys:

The MPB is present in all mountain national parks, but has only reached epidemic levels in Kootenay, Yoho and Waterton. In the 1940s, there was a major MPB outbreak in Kootenay National Park. 65,000 ha of pine forest were affected. A minor outbreak in Banff National Park affected 4000 ha. In the 1970s, a major Mountain Pine Beetle epidemic moved from the US Rocky Mountains into southeastern BC and southwestern Alberta, including Waterton Lakes National Park. Through the 1980s, the beetles moved through Kootenay National Park. A small outbreak occurred in southern Banff National Park in the early 1980s.

Mountain pine beetle has existed in Kootenay at low or “endemic” levels for as long as its pine tree hosts have grown on the landscape. The beetles were first detected in 1930 on the eastern side of Kootenay Valley between Cross River and Pitts Creek. This outbreak lasted until 1945 and progressed north to Vermilion Crossing covering over 100 square kilometres and killing 80% of the pine. This outbreak decreased to natural levels after 1945.

The second outbreak began in 1981 and is still going strong. The beetles are concentrated on Spar Mountain, the south end of Mitchell Ridge adjacent to the BC boundary, and scattered through the Kootenay Valley. In 2003, beetle activity increased significantly.

As for coyote problems, the Vancouver urban area has one. Small pets have been killed by them, people have to be on the lookout for them, they are entrenched in the city, living in parks, golf courses and hanging out near dumpsters in back alleys and even people's yards.

Again, the claim is so subjective as to be useless. You need a way to MEASURE what you are claiming.

Comparing Spectra would be one way.

Comparing readings and calibrations from light meters would be another.

Or Camera settings.

Yet, NONE of the believers test these claims, or give a way to measure and duplicate their results. They also don't address measurements that contradict their findings, utterly: such as the movement of stars and time lapse photography demonstrating no figure-8 wobble.

And, of course, they shan't address this post either.
