If any of you want the recipe I can post it here.
Yes, Yes, YES!!!!!! PLEASE!!
Okay...this is what I do for the crock pot.
Heat 1/4 cup vegetable oil in a skillet. (If using beef you can probably skip this step since beef isn't as lean as bison)
Cook 2 to 2 1/2 lbs ground bison (or beef...any meat will work) in the skillet
Halfway through the cooking, add 1 cup chopped onion (half of a good sized onion is really close) and 1 or 2 minced cloves of garlic.
In the crock pot or slow cooker, add: 1 quart of water 3 Tbsp beef base 1 8 oz can of tomato paste 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp oregano 1/4 tsp cayenne powder 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 1/2 tsp sugar 1 1/2 tsp cumin 3 Tbsp chili powder 1 can stewed tomatoes...anywhere between 14 to 16 oz will work (in this batch I tried chopped fire roasted tomatoes) 1 15 oz can ranch style beans
Once all that has been combined, add the cooked meat and let it sit on low for half the day. You should be good to go.
That sounds pretty good! Thanks! How course do you usually grind your meat?
Put it in a blender, and hit the "liquify" button.
Quoting: ***ZetaMax***You mean like ninny LIEDer did to your brain and ethics? No, thanks.
