Sorry I wasn't around last night. I had rehearsals at 3pm
and the dinner and play were close after that. I had a busy
afternoon and night AND a very successful event! Great turn
out in spite of us having performed this just a few weeks ago
at the convention. Due to us being a fellowship dedicated to
anonymity I can't show you images of my fellow actors but here
is one of me in my "Ghost of Addiction Future" costume:

We performed it at one of those huge church complexes where
one of our groups regularly meets. They even do their own
catering and provided us with that service at a VERY reasonable
price. We had about 150 show up and the stage (behind me)
was really good with great acoustics. I hope we can use the
place next year.

Hell, we even had a sort of "craft services" during the rehearsal!

If any of you have Facebook you can probably see a few more
photos on my wall since somoene "tagged" me with the pics
she took, but that's the best I can do. She had permission
to take them. I'm listed by my name, Jamie Eckles, so I
shouldn't be difficult to find.

im here with sad news

our relationship is probably ended.

What are you doing there ? You play theatre as a hobby or something ?

4 years ago our local NA fellowship put together a play
very loosely based on A Christmas Carol and we've performed
it every year just before the holidays for the last 4 years.
It's a fundraiser for our annual NA in May BBQ contest and
campout. Since our 7th Tradition states that we are fully
self-supporting we have to come up with ways to convince
or entertain our fellow members into providing funds. We
cannot accept ANY outside contributions. I call it our "vow
of poverty" but it's served our fellowship well in avoiding
any outside influences.
None of my fellow actors have much experience yet we managed
to put on a pretty good production. No one blew their lines
last night! We even made a change this year by having the
Ghost of Addiction Past be Elvis. The audience loved that.
It's only 45 minutes long and I wish I could show you guys
but no one recorded the play and only one or two people took
pictures. Our director videoed the last rehearsal but that's
for next year's actors only. I doubt that I can get him to
let me have a copy but I'll try.

Yes, you would think someone in her family might pick that up. But she's gone on record and stated that only her son Kurt supports what she's doing. So, that would be the only kin that could take over for her. And, right now, we believe that ZetaMax is that son. He certainly hasn't denied it. And, while he claims to only be a "fence sitter," he's made it quite clear that he is actually a full on supporter. Whether he'll do as good a job as Nancy (if you want to call it that), remains to be seen. He'll have some competition from Soledad and a few others who appear to be allies but are also bucking to be the head woo-woo.

It amazes me these people can tie their own shoes sometimes.

Isn't it though? He claims to be a fence sitter and yet he claims everything the "debunkers" say proving ZetaTalk false are all lies. If he were truly a "fence sitter" as he claims, he wouldn't reject everything "debunkers" say. He proves time and time again that he is not a "fence sitter" and nothing more than a full on supporter. Why he continues to claim otherwise is beyond me....everyone is on to him.

Geez, some of the comments on Andrew's thread are funny. A lot of people are talking about time discrepancies of 5 minutes between various devices...and they're convinced it's because "something is up."

I read the first comment from that link and the guy thinks that transmissions from cell phone towers and Wi-Fi are causing an increase in earthquakes.

First, there's no increase.

Second, radio waves in the HF spectrum and higher don't even penetrate the ground. If they do, it's only a few inches at best. Ground penetrating sonar uses VLF (Very Low Frequency) transmissions because they can penetrate deeper.

You try to explain to them that timekeeping devices all have varying degrees of accuracy because the electronic components inside are not perfect and have tolerances ranging from 1 to 10% depending on the quality of the component. For example, a resistor might be rated at 5K Ohms but have a tolerance of 10%...which means its true value could be 10% higher or lower than that stated. Battery voltage can also have an impact on watches. If the voltage is higher or lower than it should be, it can cause the watch to go faster or slower. And then there's temperature...as it gets colder, conductivity gets better and the accuracy can speed up.
