I might be through with this. Actually I pretty much am. Because I've kind of "got" my answer, haven't I?

Ironically, the reason I came to this site was the result of a google search- as an astronomy dork I was amazed that there were individuals in this world who actually believed in bullshit like...Planet X or Nibiru or anything else. Zetas, ect. I'd always wanted to debate an "actual believer."

What a disappointment. Ironically also is I've found much more worthy debate in other forums on this site, primarily within political contexts. Never thought I'd find (sort of...) interesting political debate on a site which identifies itself, partly, as part of the "lunatic fringe."

YOU KNOW THE SCENE IN "RUSHMORE", WHEN BILL MURRAY GOES UP AND STUFFS THAT LITTLE KID UNDER THE BASKETBALL HOOP? THAT'S HOW I'VE FELT IN ALMOST EVERY SINGLE "DEBATE" (AND ONLY A FEW INSTANCES HERE HAVE QUALIFIED AS "DEBATE", AT BEST, AND EVEN THOSE WEREN'T PARTICULARLY ENLIGHTENING) AND IT JUST ISN'T FUN ANYMORE. This forum is hardly the giggle I thought it would be.

Not that the rest of you aren't fighting the good fight. Totally are. Combating woeful, wanton disinformation is always a noble cause.

I'm just...so bored.
