Circuit Breaker User ID: 766491 United States 01/04/2010 01:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | New Ice Age Has Begun Quoting: andrewJust take a look at the headlines at Drudge. It is suppose to be -10 for northern Arkansas Friday night. Unheard of!! Wrong! The lowest temperature in Arkansas, -29°, was recorded on February 13, 1905 at Pond. [link to www.netstate.com] It may be cold in several places, but you can't declare a new ice age has begun based on one winter. Besides, per the "Zetas", Earth is warming from the core and the atmosphere is getting warmer. ZetaTalk Prediction 6/15/1996: The weather is blamed on Global Warming, the greenhouse effect, which in and of itself might be an explanation that would hold if weather were the only symptom. It is the heat from the core of the earth and the increased earthquake and volcanic activity that boggles these attempts at alternative explanations. Quoting: ZetaTlakZetaTalk Prediction 7/15/1997: The increasing activity in the core of the Earth will eventually manifest itself in ways that will become difficult to explain. Erratic weather will continue to be explained away as Global Warming, the result of the atmosphere heating up to cause swirls in the upper atmosphere. ZetaTalk Warning: Going into the cataclysms the weather will become unpredictable, with torrential rainstorms where not expected, and droughts likewise where not expected. Extremes of temperature will be experienced. Unusually warm winters, where the trees and shrubs will start to bud, thinking spring, and then be subjected to frost. Similarly, frosts will come late in the spring, almost into summer, killing the buds which have already put forth their tender shoots. During the years coming close to the time of the reappearance of Planet X, the giant comet, all parts of the world will experience extremes. So, Andrew...you're contradicting your leader. You all need to pick one story and stick with it. Last Edited by Circuit Breaker on 01/04/2010 01:50 PM A voice of reason in a world of woo-woos. |

[due to the wobble] ie, in Ukraine we had it very warm up until mid-October, then sudden rush of cold and snowstorm, - anomaly. then unseasonably warm again. it continues this way up till now - i even saw buds sprouting in late December and flies and mosquitos waking up!!! we had 16 deg Celsius in Crimea following minus 20, and then followed by immense snowfall and freezes again! [link to www.zetatalk.com] written November 21, 2009 Your summer U.S. weather forecast was right on the money! What about the winter weather (next 4 months) for North/South U.S.? Any more temperature/precipitation anomalies like the summer? We made the statement last January, 2009 that the northern hemisphere would have cooler weather up until the last weeks, due to the push away of the N Pole. The Earth is trying to lean away from the Sun, as this is where Planet X lies, and Planet X is pointing its N Pole toward the Earth. We have also made the statement that the seasons will seem to blend into one another, and that drought and deluge will continually get more severe, then switch about. This implies not a steady state but confusion, a roiling atmosphere, an unsteady wobble. All this is logical, when one considers our description of the severe wobble. One does not go from zero to 60 in a nanosecond. Things get worse, steadily, when going from normal to a severe wobble. Your weather will be highly unexpected, and can be unexpectedly warm or suddenly very cold. That's our forcast for the northern hemisphere this winter. Zetas RIGHT Again! So the last weeks are due ? Wonder what your excuse will be next year around this time. |

Circuit Breaker User ID: 766491 United States 01/04/2010 02:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Geez, now Free Store is saying the GPS system is failing like the "Zetas" predicted. The problem is - he used the following news story in an attempt to support his claim...which I give him credit for. However, I've put relevant information in bold that shows the problem wasn't with the GPS network or even the receiver. GPS Leads 3 Parties Astray in Oregon Quoting: Free StoreJanuary 01, 2010 PORTLAND, Ore. — In a holiday hurry, Jeramie Griffin piled his family into the car and asked his new GPS for the quickest way from his home in the Willamette Valley across the Cascade Range. It said he could shave 40 minutes off the time of the roundabout route he usually takes to the in-laws' place. Following the directions, he and his wife headed east on Christmas Eve and into the mountains, turning off a state highway onto local roads and finally getting stuck in the snow. They had no cell phone service and ran short on formula for their 11-month-old daughter. After taking exploratory hikes, trying to dig out and spending the night in their car, the distraught couple filmed a goodbye video. Like two other parties of holiday travelers who followed GPS directions smack into Oregon snowbanks, Griffin and family were eventually rescued. But their peril left law enforcement officers and travel advisers perplexed about drivers who occasionally set aside common sense when their GPS systems suggest a shortcut. "Did everybody just get these for Christmas?" asked Klamath County Sheriff Tim Evinger, leader of one rescue effort. In Griffin's case, in fact, the GPS device was a Christmas gift, from his parents. He used it for the first time to plan the trip to Central Oregon. It's one he'd made many times before, following a route travelers have found reliable since at least the days of the Oregon Trail. But, he said, a shortcut the GPS device suggested was attractive. "We were in such a hurry to get over there, we programmed it in the driveway and went ahead," he said. In hindsight, he said, he should have double checked the route against a paper map — and packed extra formula for the baby. "We would be better prepared for the unknown," he said. The AAA and the National Association for Search and Rescue say they don't sense a surge in trips that go amiss because of a blind reliance on GPS directions, but they hear about them from time to time. "It's usually about every other month," said Christie Hyde of the national travel association AAA. It's a small number compared with the millions of GPS units in service, she said. She's heard, she said, of one driver who made a right turn as directed and had to be towed off railroad tracks, and another party led near the edge of a cliff. In Oregon, GPS systems can direct drivers to thousands of miles of Forest Service logging roads that lace the state's mountain ranges. In the winter, they are often plugged with snow. On Christmas Day, a Nevada couple took one such road in Evinger's County and spent three days stuck. They were rescued when a break in atmospheric conditions allowed them to signal their coordinates to 911. Three Portlanders and their small dog got into trouble Monday when their vehicle slid off a forest road as they were using GPS directions to a hot springs in the southern Willamette Valley. Lane County officials said the three and the dog were exhausted and mildly hypothermic after walking 17 miles without survival gear to get into cell phone range and call 911. Griffin's family was rescued when friends and relatives used a GPS like Griffin's and duplicated the route they assumed the family had plotted. That led them straight to the family. The three had been stuck about 24 hours. Evinger recalled that within the last year in his county a hunter in a pickup followed GPS instructions along a powerline road and got stuck in a marsh, and travelers in a car got stuck in snow when they turned onto a Forest Service road that had been closed and converted to use for snowmobiles. But, he said, it isn't as if people have just started getting lost in the woods. "In yesteryear, it was people not knowing how to read their maps," he said. Evinger said the statewide task force on search and rescue he chairs will take up the question of GPS-led trips next week. He said it probably would focus on educational efforts rather than legislation. Law enforcement officials and travel experts have a variety of recommendations for people who use GPS in the winter or in strange territory: Use an old-fashioned paper map as a backup. Pack a survival kit for the winter. Configure your GPS for "highways only," or a similar setting, so that you don't get directed to byways in the winter. Top off your gasoline tank, and charge your cell phone batteries before going into remote areas. Pay attention to the weather. "Our devices don't know what the weather is," said Jessica Myers, spokeswoman for GPS manufacturer Garmin. "It's the responsibility of the driver to exercise common sense." Several officials recommended zooming out from GPS displays that focus on the stretch ahead. A wider view can point to better highways for a safer, if lengthier, drive. It can also jog a driver's mindset by offering a "full, bird's-eye view of the area around you," said Marie Dodds, spokeswoman for the AAA's Oregon and Idaho organization. The most common advice was high in "duh" content: "You can't follow GPS blindly," said Hyde of the national AAA. Says Dodds: "If you are following your GPS and all of a sudden you find yourself in the middle of nowhere with snow all around, don't go there. Turn around." [link to www.foxnews.com] In this case, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the GPS satellites or even the receiver. GPS receivers have the option of routing you based on the shortest route available. This person opted to use it before finding out if the roads were clear. As the story says, and I can attest to since I have a GPS receiver, they don't know what the weather is like and they don't know what the road conditions are like. This story simply doesn't support his claims. A voice of reason in a world of woo-woos. |

Follow the flow, let the nuances lie unanswered and unchallenged in your mind. Treat this as a garden you are walking through for the first time, and experience it fully without trying to categorize it! Much of what you will learn will be processed in your subconscious, and influence your conscious mind later.
