However, I’ve done some reading, and there’s stuff in the Bible explaining this obsessive behavior that is so common in American spirit and understanding or not understanding.

There is a similar story in three gospels, where Jesus is warning his disciples of false prophets. In Matthew 24 it says:

"1 Jesus left the temple and was going away, when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple. 2 But he answered them, "You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be thrown down." 3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will this be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the close of the age?" 4 And Jesus answered them, "Take heed that no one leads you astray. 5 For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and they will lead many astray. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not alarmed; for this must take place, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places: 8 all this is but the beginning of the birth-pangs. 9 "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation, and put you to death; and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then many will fall away, and betray one another, and hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray."

The same story is given in Mark 13 and Luke 21. In every version of the story it says that there will be famines and earthquakes and great signs from heaven.

Now, in this story Jesus is giving a description of the world since his times. There’s been famines and earthquakes and all that, including what Jesus calls false prophets. That is not the kingdom of God. What’s the point in waiting for famines and earthquakes and many false prophets? That is not what Jesus’ message was (I’m not Christian but even I know that much, forgodsake).

Nancy has probably heard those stories more than once, even as a child, having lived in an overly religious country as the US is. Stories like that can really scare the shit out of children, even grown-ups, when they don’t know what the stories are about or when they are not taught the meaning of them.

Having heard such bed time stories and having watched scary scifi films like the Man from the Planet X and stuff can have serious effect on a child, especially if there’s other trauma involved in her life.

My guess is, that there have been many things unconsciously being sucked in Nancy’s head that are now coming out as the Zetas’ communication.

In other words, what Nancy thinks is the Zetas communicating with her is in fact her own unconscious trying to deal with trauma.

Conscious dealing would be much more effective.
