I can be well informed enough of a phenomenon in plain descriptive language by an expert to understand what HE claims in the basic form.
I do not have to know ALL about aerodynamics to understand that air pressure affects fan rotation and lift. Exactly how isn't the point. The point is the relevance to the question of these planes doing these things.
I backed the claim up. HE knows aerodynamics in more depth. Argue with HIS technical knowledge.

As to shame, I know more of it than you do, clearly, for I know I have struggled to face many truths here, and sort through which parts have validity -- making mistakes along the way -- but have sorted through a lot more than you and felt ashamed I didn't suspect these things. I have also followed the twists and turns of the developing arguments, which means I have had to deeply change my mind on many issues, and sometimes change it back again corrected on some part.
