It's still going on. Here's what I saw:

I visually tested it and compared: I just watched it for 4 hours. From a beautiful, no humidity or smog afternoon ...
To now the bleariest sick-grey sky.

G8 G20 -- dull-the-senses chemicals?

3 were low over me. I saw big cloudy streaks. I watched them for 1.5 hours turn into spreading misty crap on the bottom, then they became puffy embankments together, then one big mass of crap.

The horizons became blurred with others. One plane took off leaving a wide smear in an uneven flight path, which lingered, then 11 others identifiable until I stopped counting. High and low. One plane's crap stopped (change of tank?) then started again.

For a while it looked like clouds except at the horizon, where it was banks of grey smog crap.

Then it became a semi-transparent dirty colour as the Sun went down and it looked as though some was still cloudy in the West, but like a sick grey of a rainstorm coming, only it's a non-humid day. Now it's bleary smeary everywhere. You can see the new high jets above, through it, leaving more, and you can see real clouds (or more cloud from this stuff) through it.

Now you can see the clear indigo above, but still hear the low jets.

And all levels of plane (we are a big airport, so we get all levels of plane) flew through without leaving this crap, so it's not a weird temperature or moisture phenomenon.

I AM SO MAD.
