That's a gorgeous capture Hap, Sky&Tel worthy imho. The faint extended regions of the nebula you captured are impressive.

I would like your opinion regarding the coordinates we discussed yesterday. An individual claims that they used an IR capable camera and recorded an object at the coordinates RA: 6h 42m 8.44s, Dec: 41 40' 18.94" on 20 March 2010 from a location in southern Michigan. He later recorded an identical or similar object at 6h 41m 55.77s, 41 35'; 41 35' 19.45" on 9 April 2010.

I knew those coordinates looked oddly familiar.

George, you need to understand that the PX proponents never admit to any of their 'data' being debunked. The same bullshit is repeated over and over and over again, no matter how many times it is proven false. Nancy has built Zetatalk exactly like that, one falsehood on top of the last. She makes a claim, declares it proven, and then builds on top of that... for 15 years.

Note that most of what rolls around on the internet about PX was originated or inspired by Zetatalk.

It is much like gossip . . . everyone keeps sending it forward and few if anyone tries to verify if it is true or not. That is why I persist even in the face of ridicule and insults . . . I am the regular guy who has forgotten more than he remembers and needs to ask basic questions to get to the truth. Not everyone that comes to this Thread has in-depth knowledge enough to debunk fraud.

Nope. Gossip is innocent and mostly unintentional. Zetatalk is intentional falsehood.

Yep. I have had several of Hap's images as desktops!

The same software I use for plate solving will also point out any asteroids or any other transient objects in any of my photographs that are not in the database. The bunkers just don't have any clue how sophistocated normal amateur astronomy is nowdays. They think we're all as ignorant as they are about such things.

What motivates someone to perpetrate a fraud like that above . . . I just don't get it?
