:C - Debate 9 Jul:

Just to let you guys know the Chemtrail Debate that Menow encouraged me to do with 'The Guy' is this Friday at 9:00 PM EST. Hope you get a chance to look in . . .

Get that in situ sample yet?

Didn't think so. That would resolve the question and the chemtards do NOT want that!

Yes, the next best thing. . . . . but you have to go to the debate to see it.

BTW. . . The people who study in situ sampling of contrails think it is very difficult to get a good sample themselves and they have all the equipment and budget . . . see below:

"In young contrails and possibly in contrail cirrus,
the existence of numerous XXXX-sized ice crystals (aerosol/ice
continuum) poses a great challenge for accurate in situ measurements(Heymsfield et al., 2009). The difficulty of tracking contrails, once they have lost their linear shape, by aircraft or with satellite detection algorithms is another reason for the lack of robust data on contrail microphysical properties, and the apparent absence of measurements of older (age >1 h) contrail cirrus."

So get a sample that is <1hr old. Simple. But the chemtards won't do that, it would ruin the game, right?

Re: Debunker Talk LIVE Chat 24/7 - A debunker's paradise!!
Ningtard question:
Dear Ones, Thank you so very, very much for the insights you offer! My biggest question continues to be,
"What would make the best, strong roof for one of the trenches you recommend we lie in during the hour of
the SHIFT? What do you suggest we use and How do you suggest we secure it?" Thank you.

Now before I share Nancy's reply, remember that in an event like she proposes, the winds would be in excess of any hurricane force wind ever recorded by man.

Nancy's Reply:
They have already stated that a board covered with sod or sheet metal anchored well. They could not give more specific advice as it would depend so much on your location. If in the flat plains, then making sure your roof will not lift is the issue. Sod, if allowed to grow over a roof from the sides, could be no better. Roots are SO secure. A piece of metal will of course want to lift in winds too. Secure well by whatever means! Cover with some dirt and allow the sod at the sides to grown over the top, a root network that will NOT be broken in all likelihood. But you might have rock hard clay soil that would allow you do just crouch against one side and hold something over your head like a garbage pail top. Endless variations possible. Be out of the wind. Under a metal cover or sod covered (not burnable, sod is not burnable) board. Things that can't lift in the wind, are secured. Or ANY variation! I have storm doors to my basement, and in a pinch would NOT be in the basement (could fall) but would crouch down in there (out of the wind) and the worst would be those boards crashing on me, but they are not heavy. They would also deflect flying objects. Think of the goal, not of the direction.

Maybe I have a twisted sense of humour, but imagining the ningtards crouching up against a clay embankment holding a garbage pail top over their heads in extreme hurricane force winds makes me laugh until my belly hurts.

Well, the truth is the vast majority of persistent contrails are mistaken as chemtrails. The probability of finding an actual Chemtrail would require a ton of luck and flying well above 30,000 feet. It would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack by driving by the stack at 30 mile an hour in an enclosed vehicle with collection tubes protruding from the vehicle. Good luck . . . not cost effective!

Oh, come on! A garbage pail top? hehehe . . . then what about a colander? It resembles an army hat (for effect, you are fighting for your life, after all) but with airholes so the wind won't take it off your head. And you can add a strap underneath the colander so you don't have to have your arms otherwise occupied by holding it down on top of your head. And then you can have a couple of big, metal spatulas in either hand so you can run around in circles while hitting yourself in the colander as a warning to others.

I know you're wincing, it's quiz time . . .

From the ning:

"Tuesday, early evening my daughters 25 and 29 who have been skeptical about the theory of Planet X were heading to Boston traveling north along a shore drive in Quincy (Wollaston Beach) which is a straightaway for at least a couple of miles. As the sun was setting over Boston they both witnessed what my daughter said were two suns, one she described as a "small sun" to the left (their left) of our sun. They commented that for a split second it was confusing to them as to which was the real sun. They both confirmed to one another what they were viewing and both said immediately after seeing them the sky was "hazed" over, completely covering the "small sun" and fuzzing the view of the real sun, leaving a bright pink hue in the sky."

They ALWAYS ignore obvious contradictions in the PX story. In this case, it is that Nancy says PX is to the RIGHT of the real sun.

Heh.

Sorry to make you feel uncomfortable . . . we had several discussions regarding Chemtrails, etc. I thought we were past the adversarial posture. So be it . . . I won't bother you in the future.

It's not about being adversarial. It's about you seemingly caring whether I'm working or on vacation, and things like that. You CAN'T really care about that, George. We don't KNOW each other. It's disingenuous for you to feign concern for me like that. It just feels dishonest and as if you are trying to 'stroke' me, for whatever reasons. It doesn't work. It's creepy. Cut it out.

I'll be away from the computer this weekend, for the most part.

Sorry, I was hoping you would make a flyby . . . you can always catch up later, but some real time would be great. Best Wishes . . . hope your on vacation not work.

By the way... your overly familiar manner just gives me the creeps. It's no skin off your nose(nor any of your business) whether I'm working, vacationing, or whatever. I don't know you, nor are we 'pals'.

Your motive? Let's see... for years now, the debunkers have been attacked as to motive over and over and over again for simply posting rebuttals to the PX myth. YOU figure it out from there.

By the way... the ones most guilty of constant personal attacks have actually been the ones promoting the various conspiracy theories. I suspect that you, too, will resort to that sort of thing when you have your ass handed to you on the chemtrail debate thread.

Seems you think I have ulterior motives . . . not really . . . I do think this forum, any forum can be used to thoroughly discuss and debate the issues that confuse and frustrate people. I only discovered Chemtrails and many other issues one year ago. Before that time I knew nothing of all the fuss over most of the things on GLP. The most controversial and conspiratorial I got was an occasional trip to Fox News. Astronomy and Orbital mechanics was what I surmised from old Star Wars movies. I had a career in a an area of medical science that took all my time and effort. All my reading and attention other than a bit of fiction went to my career. So if you think I am one of the eternal conspiracy supporters you are very wrong. I didn't know they even existed before August of 2009.
BTW . . . the result of the debate is not known though you think otherwise . . .

So get a sample that is <1hr old. Simple. But the chemtards won't do that, it would ruin the game, right?

Well, the truth is the vast majority of persistent contrails are mistaken as chemtrails. The probability of finding an actual Chemtrail would require a ton of luck and flying well above 30,000 feet. It would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack by driving by the stack at 30 mile an hour in an enclosed vehicle with collection tubes protruding from the vehicle. Good luck . . . not cost effective!
 Quoting: George B

You don't know what an in situ sample is, do you George?

How did cost effective get into the argument?

And, didn't you tell us there had been sample collected already? If not you, then it was one of the other chemtards. Sorry, but you all sound the same.

I will say it again . . . Chemtrail Advocates do not have a budget of any type, they are not organized or have resources. If the contrail experts themselves debate the difficult challenges of in situ capture and analysis of persistent contrails and the cirrus clouds that result from them; how in the world do you expect a group of independent citizens to accomplish such a task.

Advocates have to rely on the efforts and budgets of others . . . and if you attend the debate you may find some interesting research.

One possible translation of the above:

Chemtrail believers tend to be fantasists with little real world expertise or the connections and financial resources that would follow from such expertise.
