At any rate, Nancy's big mistake was always giving dates of our destruction where she had a good chance of still being alive. What she should have done, at least when the May 15, 2003 date failed to happen, was to give a new date far enough in to the future that she would most certainly be gone. That way she wouldn't have to come up with any excuses. She could just keep stringing the mentally impaired along for the rest of her life. It would then fall upon her replacement to do the PR work when that far out date eventually failed.

Her best course of action now would be to simply say that the Council of Worlds, in a last minute summit, decided to have the "Zetas" move "Planet X" out of the solar system while we were all sleeping so we wouldn't notice. Since we're supposedly stuck in an August position, she would be wise to say it just happened that way the seasons and constellations could come and go as they should.
