Anonymous Coward User ID: 969583 United States 09/02/2010 06:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hi guys: Has anybody here seen the Lacrosse 5 satellite with the naked eye? I'm trying to figure out what I saw this morning. That seems to match up fairly closely in time and direction based on heavens-above.com. It just seemed to be moving a lot faster than the ISS and appeared to flash a couple of times. |

They are known to produce a nice flash when the sun catches them right. |

Gazmik User ID: 487277 United States 09/02/2010 09:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | REVELATION X Quoting: Prof_RabbitThe 1995 sequel to The Book of the SubGenius, the Last New Testament, HAS BEEN REPRINTED! Either the greatest general satire of pure human stupidity and greed ever created, or a self-help book from Hell, REVELATION X is darker, deeper, more detailed, louder and funnier than The Book of the SubGenius. 1995? Wasn't that about the same time that Nancy started her Planet X spiels? Did she rip-off Planet X from the Church of the SubGenius? |

Satellite flares can happen if the sun glints off of a solar panel or other shiny surface; though iridiums are the most famous and brightest example there are plenty of others that will do this to a lesser degree. |

Iridium flares can be quite bright. non sufficit Orbis Being a zetatard means never having to make sense. I always thought it's the solar panel reflecting ... depending on how the position of the sun, satellite and your watching position is. The flare is when the panels have a good reflection position. Well, thats what I thought, dunno, might be bull. |
Gazmik User ID: 487277 United States 09/02/2010 04:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | One of the tenents of the Church of the Subgenius is that the superadvanced aliens called 'Xists' will arrive on July 4th, 1998 at 7:00 AM. Quoting: Returner 997So yeah, I can see a Planet X/Xists correlation. "Bob" is NOT HAPPY! "If 'Bob' says godlike aliens from Planet X are going to change all human reality on July 5, 1998, that's EXACTLY WHAT HE MEANS. We don't want to hear any more of these 'metaphorical interpretations' of Bob's LITERAL TEACHINGS. If you're gonna mess with the gods, you can't just 'believe' in them... you have to believe the HELL out of them!" [link to www.subgenius.com] Published in 1994... Coincidence? I think not! Time for you to retire Nancy User ID: 1087836 New Zealand 09/03/2010 12:31 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey hey there... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74444Glad to see you are about. Things here remain the same ol' and Nancy has been thoroughly owned each time she has deigned to come back from her new, rapidly self-destructing Ningie-thingie. So, things continue apace. LOL!! Nancy is just so predictable. Maybe one day the woman will finally learn to retire graciously from the public eye and decline to further embarass herself on the internet. Good to hear from you too, 74444. |
