Agreed, I see family after family after family being torn apart over a hoax on that thread. That is really sad, and to think it could have been avoided if they had had a better education in astronomy growing up. I know for myself that I was largely self-taught; astronomy just wasn't covered in my primary and secondary education.

A better education might have helped but the big problem is the fact they're gullible. Max seems educated and yet he still supports ZetaTalk.

OMG! Those people are either REALLY stupid, or it's all an act. I mean, seriously, how can you live to be an adult and never notice that the moon is, indeed, visible during the day at certain times of the month?

And the comments about the moon tilting 90 degrees during the course of the night as proof of the Earth wobbling is hilarious! I almost feel sorry for how stupid or ignorant (maybe both) they are.
