At times I seriously do not know whether to laugh or just actually "cry" over the things that AndyBoy comes up with on this thread.

I mean I get it with the likes of Mr FrEaKy and numbnuts Melfy; but with AndyBoy he is relatively young of age yet seems hellbent on flushing his life down the toilet by obsessing over something that is clearly Not going to happen because zetatalk is nothing more than a fraudulent and bogus internet cult following.

Melfster you do realise that you must be held accountable for ANY prediction claims that you make here on our debunkers thread eh?

You will be disciplined for making or promoting false claims of such a nature as the one you keep repeating above eh?

Melfy I consider that you have drawn a line in the sand on our thread by such promotion of something that is clearly in the same league as "David Booth predictions" eh!!

The only avenue left for you in this regard will be along the lines of......

In respect of myself having the option and ability to ban a poster from our debunkers thread I can only think of ONE reason to do so....namely the use of the "C" word(with four letters and ends in "t").

But even then I think a warning first would suffice if a poster did indeed use the "word" here. A second deliberate use would indeed occur a banning. Apart from this I can see no other reason for myself banning a poster from our thread. There may be other reasons but I haven't come across them yet since we were given the ability to "moderate" threads that we have started. And as I have stated previously I refer to this debunkers thread as our thread so therefore I take this fact into consideration always.

NOTE: There was an example several pages ago where I warned a certain poster NOT in indulge in what I considered to be a "highly offensive" statement made in reference to an actual real life tragedy. Even after making this clear to the poster they proceeded to reaffirm once again what I still consider to be an offensive statement referencing a very distasteful "zetatalk" assertion. Therefore I took the action to remove both postings made by this particular poster to make it loud and clear that there are somethings that will not be tolerated even in this thread.

Problem is, if anyone so much as gets a hangnail, Maxi will be proclaiming it as proof that the tipping point has been reached. What are the chances of a big quake during his window? Pretty damn good, since you could pick any 8 day period and probably be able to point to a 6 magnitude somewhere in the world. What are the chances of a volcano going off? Pretty damn good, since there are several in alert stages (and usually there are). What are the chances of financial meltdown? Pretty damn good, and the pundits have been predicting one eventually for years now. We all know how Maxi loves to spin, so it should be a real show next week. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. Some people have no dignity.

But if you try to spin some small event into "the tipping point" I will of course bury you with the help of the other excellent debunkers here. The choice is yours.

The moon changes position as part of its orbit. For the same side to stay facing the earth it has to rotate at the same rate as its orbit. This is basic stuff. If it wasn't rotating at all then the dot in that .gif would stay pointing in the same direction constantly, but as it is the dot goes through a full 360 degree rotation.

BS. The "technical" definition of rotation fits the movement of the moon perfectly. If you disagree, post the "technical" definition you're using (technical meaning not something you pulled out of your ass).

the right part of that gif is misleading - for if it was doing it while staying in place - i agree it could be called rotation around its axis. but if ytou look at left part of gif you see how it is - it is orbiting around Earth with obe side 'glued' permanently to Earth! - just exactly like Nancy/Zetas said!

what it does ( as evidenced by red dot) is not rotate around its axis, it orbits Earth with one side glued to it! that doesnt equal rotation around its axis!

and to the contrary - if it WAS rotating, red dot would point out at times. and it does NOT. this right part of gif is misleading.

Really, what's nonsensical about that? Do you deny that the position of the moon changes due to its orbit? That's what an orbit is.


It's rotating AND orbiting you dimwit. The fact that it's not standing still has no bearing on the fact that it still rotates on its axis. Rotation and translation are two completely different concepts and the fact that you think one negates the other speaks volumes about your knowledge of the subject.


If the moon wasn't rotating then the dot would be pointing in the same direction constantly. Not relative to the Earth, but relative to the surrounding space.
