I really appreciate the kind thoughts expressed by you and others here. I'm sure that once I tend to the needs of my family at this time then I will be back in here "clowning around" and poking fun at the likes of Andy Boy and Melfy etc. But for now my family has my undivided attention and following "DOOM" on the internet is very much the furthest thing on my mind.

I asked you, awhile ago, how you choose between which fringe theories to back, and which you reject. Do you have a methodology, or is it just your 'gut?'

And, perhaps, if your 'gut' continues to react to such prognostications that ultimately fail, might I suggest a more cogent form of analysis?

Postman put that much more succinctly than I would have... but I always have been too wordy. I did have some rather hilarious arguments with the guy over a couple of years...I still fondly remember the math test, and the chess match, and his hilarious failures at both.

Honestly, I thought he'd been gone from GLP for quite some time. I suppose I wasn't looking in the right threads.
