I hope Dr. Postman comes back, mod or not. He was one of the best mods here, though I know some would disagree. One thing I like about GLP is that there are mods of all flavours, and that balances things.

Even if he has been demodded, I would miss him as a poster.

Well, from what I have gleaned, it appears he's banned from the board. He is taking it in stride, but I am sure an email from any of you would not go amiss.

However, such a move has prompted a decision: I shall become much less active on this board. 20 months before the 2012 drop-dead date, and now we are going to start banning posters like Postman?

Then this isn't the place for me.

Again, I find it ironic and amusing that ZM would worry about being banned by Postman or TLR; yet it always seems the true-believers and Zeta apologists are the first to pull that particular trigger. But, I am certain ZM will not miss my continued questioning of him in the least.

I shall endeavor to drop in much nearer the December 2012 date -- perhaps six months before, to post a missive regarding the undoubted continue failures of Lieder, and continue to point out the cult-like absurdities and similarities outlined very well in Festinger's 'When Prophecy Fails.'

But if Postman is gone, then so am I. Not much of a stand, I suppose, but it is the only one I can manage.

Thanks to all those who have complimented me and supported my posting in the past. I will probably still lurk, and to all those who have been debunking Nancy and other PX nonsense for the longest time, you have my gratitude.

Wow. I had no idea. Of course Max will be jubilant, but how will he get the attention he craves without debunkers like 74444 and Dr. Postman? It is some consolation that Nancy has also been demodded. Perhaps she has been banned too? While I don't like censorship, it would be only fair. I guess I am pushing my luck, but if I get banned too for defending a friend it won't be the end of the world.

After glops `malfunction' and the things that were said (I got to watch the entire trainwreck from beginning to end) and the excuses now on offer (and remember- no use trying to say what happened if it doesnt jibe with what I saw with my little eyes...)

This thread is (was) about the only reason I came here anyway, and if some people are really that petty and untruthful, then I will not be returning

(certainly maxipad and his ilk arent the reason I stayed around except to poke at with a stick for the hell of it)

Frankly, I just wonder what HAPPENED. Ostensibly the whole ruckus was over Oh May Ga, so I have to speculate that DrP. was somehow caught up in all that. He was pretty liberal as Mods go, highly critical, yet the last one to push the ban button (and probably the first to push the unban one as well.) He must have had a past of being much more of an Oh May Ga (and his "merry" band) sympathizer than was considered "acceptable" given the assertions floating about.

Anyhow, I will miss him. I actually enjoyed our bantering (and I think he did as well.)

I "troll" out of frustration. I *DO* think "something" is coming and 2012 is a significant date "for some reason" - but I have no smoking gun proof for any of it. I'm frustrated mainly by the conservatism and brain-washed thinking of the masses that just go along with the status quo without question. So out of frustration, I support the "unsupportable". I've said time and again that I think ZetaTalk is actually a psyop - and time and again, no one takes the bait and attempts to discuss that angle.

I guess that's just too much a bottenless pit to explore - for if ZetaTalk were in fact a "psyop", then of course it begs the question WHY - and we're back to someone trying to HIDE something again.

Anyhow - I really don't want to go too far down that road myself anyway. If "someone" really is trying to hide something, then they won't look kindly on any efforts of mine to get at and share the truth. So it really is a NO WIN situation for me no matter HOW you slice it.

If we're all doomed in 2012 - I lose.
If nothing happens in 2012 - I "lose" (at least on the face of it).
If it's a cover for something really dark and sinister - I lose again.
And if (improbably) Nancy really is just a garden-variety nut-job - I lose.

The only "winning" is if whatever modest preparations I've made REALLY DO save me if everything does in fact GO TO HELL. (Which is why I still advocate any and all PREPARATION).

Otherwise there's no "winning" - so I EMBRACE losing.

I too am perplexed over Postman's demise . . . He was, in this thread and all others, even handed. He always seemed ready to help and had common sense. I think he should be given a second chance if possible!!!!!

By-the-way, I also feel Nancy and her group are a type of PsyOp . . . the information she uses is way too detailed and orchestrated to only come out of the brain of one person. Could she be a victim of some type of MK Ultra program to spread disinformation and discredit anyone looking into certain areas of astronomy, physics, etc??

If that's true, then screw this place. Damn. Though I guess it should be no surprise when the people who run a fringe conspiracy site wind up being just as shithouse nuts as some of the people they host.

Max, I've always enjoyed sparring with you. I don't think for a moment you believed half the things you pretended to support, but you were always a lot of fun.

The rest of you guys, you have my respect and my best wishes. But if TPTB see fit to ban Doc, hell, it's only a matter of time before they get around to the rest of us.

I agree with both your reaction and stance. DrP was a level-headed MOD and helped balance out this forum. He was tolerant to the irrational in that he always extended them the same rights. Let’s be honest. When you basically tell people; “just shut up and pretend like nothing happened”, it doesn’t go over very well…especially at a place that prides itself on non-sheep like behavior. All of this is unfortunate and certainly doesn’t seem to be handled very well.
