You also missed the DEMISE of DrPostman - who's "star" has fallen mightily. He lost his "cover" job at the Post Office, and then managed to get himself DE-MODDED and PERMANENTLY BANNED. Wrote on another site his opinion of how Trinity manages this one. Needless to say - it wasn't "flattering" and Trinity decided to "reward" him for it. (Actually, I'm kind of sorry to see him go - I sometimes actually enjoyed sparring with him. Hope he lands on his feet.)



By the way - Nancy undeservedly lost her MOD power as well (though she wasn't banned).

As for gloating over someone getting banned from GLP, that proves to me that you're shallow little snit. Did you enjoy pulling the legs off of spiders when you were young?

As for him losing his job at the postal service - they are shedding jobs like CRAZY and going to close TONS of post offices as well. So NO I don't think he did "that" to himself. And I am TRULY sorry to see it happen. In spite of being an over-stuffed blowhard, I'm sure he was a good, conscientious hard-working postal employee. Heck, he's not he only over-stuffed blowhard in the world - and no, I am not vengeful and have no schadenfreude feelings either. I **KNOW** how brutal the job market is - I was out of work myself for five months, and I have computer programming skills that are guru level. The new job I got is a good one, great benefits, but paid one third less than I was making. I will have been in my latest job two years in March (lost the last one in November 2008 - a HORRENDOUS time to lose a job).

I wish him all the luck in the world in finding something new as soon as POSSIBLE.

You're in the wrong field for job stability. I've been working with no breaks and layoffs for 23 years - and that includes nine different employers. Currently working two jobs - one at four-tens and one from home. The only reason I'm working job two is so that I don't have to put kitchen cabinets, appliances, air conditioner and water system on my credit card.

In my field of work, there are always jobs.

True to a point. Part of my problem, is that I'm pretty aggressive - which worked well for me as a consultant, but not so well as an employee. As an employee, I always manage to piss off some arrogant little snot of a know-nothing but prance around like a little Napoleon "project manager" who then makes it his mission in life to "get me". Once they settle into that mindset, it usually takes them about a year of maneuvering and slandering to everybody who will listen to them before the "layoff" comes. Ironically, they almost always pay themselves, for nearly everyone who "got me" were themselves dismissed within a year of my departure (usually because the projects I was working on go south violently the day I leave - always as a result of the "snit" underestimating how much RAW work I was really [and quietly I might add] doing for the organization).

Still - it wreaks havoc on the resume, and makes managerial references "problematic". The places I suffered the most from this were both hedge funds.

No surprise there. Being a TOTAL ASS is required to be a successful trader. At least in my experience ...

I am an attorney! (I have a JD and am a member of a Midwest Bar Association IN GOOD STANDING.) I haven't practiced since 1994. Found I like working with computers SO much better than wrangling with clients, judges and other attorneys. Computers are NEVER "arbitrary" - where the others are MOST of the time! (Or too often for my taste anyway.) The clients were the WORST though. Most of them just wanted some form of REVENGE against the other party, when often THEY THEMSELVES were the original instigator of whatever dispute they were in!! I spent more time patiently explaining to my clients what I "couldn't" do for them than anything else.

I have exchanged emails with him and he did NOT post anything bad about this site or the owner. That is a lie. He got demodded and banned. He doesn't know why. He said he will miss being here, but that he is taking it as a sign that he was spending too much time on the net and moving on. No hard feelings. As usual, Max doesn't care about truth and he doesn't care about trashing someone else with his pathetic little lies. If you didn't have your head so far up Nancy and Clif's ass you would recognize that Dr. Postman is a decent guy and this site is not the same without him. So Max, STFU about things you can only speculate and repeat rumors about.

I never regarded him as a "bad" guy. He was consistent and trustworthy and fair. He was also arrogant, condescending, dismissive and inflexible in his opinions. He made a damn good establishment shill - paid or not. And now the establishment has bitten him in the ass. I think he should re-examine his "theories" about how the world is REALLY run.

A lie? Really? Trinity had *NO* reason for his actions - even if undisclosed? Sure, Dr. P. may not have been "blunt" - but if his communiques revealed any form of "breaking rank" with GLP and Trinity's way of running things, even if subtle and between the lines, that would do it. I'm not trying to defend Trinity either - I just don't buy the "arbitrariness" of the ban.

As you are a supposed attorney, claiming that Dr. Postman was banned for something he did that ticked off Trinity without proof (care to provide us with a URL) is hearsay evidence.

Repeating those same claims for all to see borders on libel.

So...stop making claims about Dr. Postman without him around to defend himself.

It's not a "lie", it's an "accusation". They are NOT the same thing. To tell a lie is to state a KNOWN falsehood. But an accusation is different. One needs only circumstantial evidence (and not very strong evidence either) to level an accusation. Furthermore, I'm not accusing him of any criminal activity. It's not a crime to be a "paid shill".

Same as we `ACCUSE' you of being not a lawyer, not in I.T. and if not directly related to nancy (ie kurt) then PAID by her to troll any thread that doesn't wholeheartedly support her delusions
