Max is a perfect "true believer" for whatever charlatan comes along. He believes it implicitly but fails to do any research to see if the claimant is right or wrong.

Funny, but this is not the kind of behavior I would expect from an attorney.

Nancy's "true believers" follow the same course of action. They believe everything she claims and even go to the point of finding things to reinforce these false beliefs. There is no critical thinking among her or her followers.

They're all sheep...being led to the slaughter.
