Aw Max, I will pass, because there is this thing I practice called ethics. My opinion here is based on a lot more than speculation. It's based on 30 odd years of "clinical" experience. Just as I would not share publicly that someone I was treating has an STD, I won't say more about it.

I'm already "ready" for DOOM. I made all the necessary lifestyle changes seven going on eight years ago. Where I now live is where I make my STAND. Be it earthquake, radiation, war, civil unrest, you name it.

"DOOM" can come to an individual in so many different ways and even when one is least expecting it to. Believe you me Melfy tragedy or doom, call it what you want, can strike with devastating results no matter how prepared one is....even though it is always a good thing to be prepared for such events of any nature.

For example Melfy what are your chances of survival when an airliner falls out of the sky and crushes you and your family when you are sound asleep in the middle of the night?......zero to none!!

One of the clues was what he said about his attempts at meditation. He described them as being painful. Meditation is nothing more than turning the world off and being silent within yourself and observing things as they are without prejudice. Either he was doing some masochistic technique he picked up from some flake on the internet (and knowing Max, this could be true LOL), or he is just too uncomfortable to be alone in his own company with no distractions. So as most people that can't stand themselves, he looks for distractions to fill the void and the more convoluted the better. He looks for others who will tell them what to do, how to think and behave. He creates noise to drown out his own inner voice. That way he doesn't have to look at himself in the mirror and be accountable to himself. If things don't work out, he has someone to blame besides himself. In a nut shell, he has damaged self esteem and is too afraid to deal with his own issues.

There are more clues, but it wouldn't be fair to bring that up here, as it is very personal and sensitive. I have already picked at the scab, wouldn't want him to bleed too much, because contrary to what Max might think, I don't wish to cause harm to anyone.
