If he continues, like Nancy after 2003, it'll be interesting to see if his popularity wanes and returns upon further failed predictions... Those are my guesses as to the likely outcomes, anyway... As long as it's not another "Heaven's Gate". I may not have any respect for these folks, but I never want to see harm come to any of them. It's their families that I truly feel sorry for. Hopefully by posting the truth and providing them with methods by which they can test these unfounded ideas for themselves, we can mitigate some of the damage.
