I had to laugh when I saw Who smeared Vaseline all over my telescope?
Max, you and Andrew need to CALM THE FUCK DOWN.

I dunno who smeared the vaso over it (great for the viewing of planet x, vaso smeared lenses are even better than $75 telescopes) but talk about loosey goosey... :-O TMI volar... Uh, How is an 8" scope "too much scope" for viewing this alleged planet?. I find that difficult to believe. and 8" scope would be perfect for viewing such a planet. My scope is a bit half the size, and I can resolve many of the planets. Anyway, I have read some of volars claims and arguments. um maxipads and volar and andy (let it swing free) are all `close friends' if you know what I mean.... and 8" is TMI from him (andy will have sticky sheets AGAIN) ;-)
