Here, actually, the winter in the northern hemisphere started with the most warm october known since history of weather observation, and the specialist show no concern of even a long and heavy winter as last year.

So we will see who proves right - a delusional doomsdayer or the scientists of the actual knowledge.

I will come back to this item every month from now on.

It is just that there are situation where no element of doubt is needed.

Colorado Springs hit a new record high temperature Monday afternoon when the thermometer at the Colorado Springs airport hit 78 degrees about 2:50 p.m. And it stayed up there for more than an hour, said Randy Gray, a National Weather Service meteorologist.

The 78-degree mark surpasses the previous record of 77 degrees set in 1952. Denver also had a record high -- hitting 80 degrees, which beat a high of 79 set in 1999.

Not to mention the record heat during the summer...with prolonged heat and drought in Texas. All indicators of a coming ice age.

Drove through 2 mountain passes on the weekend. Lovely autumn conditions, bare and dry the whole way. Temperatures at the high end of normal in BC. Melfy wrong again.

On another note, I bet Nancy is giddy with the doom developing in Bangkok, which was supposed to be engulfed by the sea last winter. She will no doubt figure out a way to bury her failure and set up a new zetababble prediction to explain why the flood waters are coming from rivers swelling with rain and not intrusion of the ocean.

Clif in a recent interview says that "the data" predicted the current "Occupy" movement.

The host said that Clif had a developed a new "science" with his technology.

The first half of the video is simply moving the viewpoint of the earth's orbit around the sun from the solar system as a static above view to a viewpoint as seen from the galactic POV (and I am not sure he has that right either- I was under the impression that the inclination of the planets was fairly close to being 0 degrees from the galactic plane (about 8 degrees??- have to look it up...) he had it close to 90 degrees

By the same leap of logic you can say the moon doesn't orbit the earth either (actually it doesn't if you look from above the solar system at it, it spins in a screwy corkscrew shape around the sun)

That's all he did...

I would LOVE to post this over on the ning where Nancy's moron believers think there's a second sun. The shot was taken Thursday (Oct 27) morning at 7:30. Where's the second sun? Naturally, if I were to post this link on the ning it would be deleted and I would be banned so Nancy can maintain control over her small band of morons in her "ZetaTalk" cult.

The shot was taken on an iPhone 3GS which has a 3 MP camera so the quality isn't that good. It was also shot through a dirty windshield after our snow storm Wednesday. But, you can clearly see only ONE sun.

Snow storm??? Oh ye who was BRAGGING just the other day about how "nice" the weather was, and how we were'nt going into an ICE AGE???

I wasn't bragging...I was stating facts that don't support your worrisome claims about a harsh winter that will be talked about 500 years from now.

And what's so unusual about snow at the end of October? Colorado Springs usually gets at least one snow event before Halloween. We may get more next week. This is hardly evidence of Clif's "prediction" of a harsh winter...especially when you consider that we'll be in the upper 50s to low 60s over the weekend.




BTW, I see you had nothing to say about the photograph proving there is no second sun. Quite telling.
