How much is it for a steak in the US? I had one on Friday and over here it goes for USD12. (about R100.)

If someone else is picking up the tab, I'll go with no complaint. It's worth it at least once in your life. To have a cut of steak tender enough that you can cut it with your fork is an experience everyone should have at least once. That it's Max paying because of a foolish wager made in support of Nancy Lieder would definitely improve the flavor of the cut as well. Might I suggest the Cowboy Bone-in Rib-eye?
