um
As a kid I regularly surfed bigger waves than that,(lived near one of Oz's world famous surf beaches)
Is nancy under the impression that a tsunami's only characteristic is its height? (maybe she saw one too many moovies with a 500ft high `tidal wave' in it??)
Wonder what she would classify the 30-60ft waves @ Oahu's North Shore as???

Her considerable lack of scientific knowledge is telling as she has more than once proven herself lacking a basic understanding of science (i.e., typically those subjects taught in primary and secondary schools in the United States). How many subjects has she proven herself to be ignorant of? If I listed them all, I'd probably push the thread page count much closer to 1,000.
