That guy is a major tool, a self proclaimed expert in everything with nothing, not even creativity to back it up. I countered his BS about the Mayas, because I happen to know things. I presented my points, my methods, my logic and gave tools so anyone can confirm or disprove my argument. The nut decided he doesn't want to talk to me because I desecrated the graves of my people. Actually I worked pushing a wheelbarrow on archeological digs at pyramids. The idiot doesn't even know that the Mayans didn't bury their dead in pyramids. The only example I know of was Palenque. Even if they were graves, the Mayans of today would not be upset. The tradition in western Yucatan is to bury the dead, and 5 years later, on the days of the dead they dig them up and arrange the bones in shrines at the cemetery that they call osarios. Every year they go to the cemetery to change the linen, tidy the bones and talk to their dearly departed. I know. A bit gross, but true.

Sorry for your run in with him. I find him terribly amusing, simply because of the lengths he goes to to defend his ideas without the slightest checking. The Windows Calculator story is one example.

Venus has an apparent diameter of 66arc seconds (a little over 1 arc minute)
that means her px is around 4 arc minutes..
the full moon is around 30 arcs minutes

that means px is around 1/6 the apparent size of a full moon...

now given her story that dust obscures direct sightings of px itself- that means that a rather sizable spot 1/6 the apparent size of the moon is wandering arounnding around near the sun- a very notable thing indeed (as dust thick enough to block light from px, would also block light from any stars it occulted)

(all figures googled from `apprent arc of moon' and apparent arc of venus' and checked on all sites on first page against each other)
