Also her religious concept is a stolen mixture of some new age cults of the 60s and the Mormons who are very active in her region. Nothing new here! Or how could somebody explain the traumatic psychosis that these people are trying to find planets with old floppy disks in front of their smartphones. The stupid is strong there.

Wrong. The planets are not trailing behind the sun in a "vortex" and the motion of the solar system through the galaxy is not at a right angle to our orbital motion around the sun. The solar apex, our solar system's direction of travel projected onto the sky has the coordinates of about 18hr RA, +30 degrees Dec ( [link to books.google.com] ) whereas our north ecliptic pole has coordinates of about 18hr RA, +66.5 degrees Dec.

Some guy on Youboob was trying to tell me about this "new model of the solar system" where the planets have spiral orbits. This is apparently what he was talking about. These people glom onto whatever new gobbldygook/pseudoscience comes down the pike. They just NEED to think that they are on the cutting edge of discovery, somehow.

Yup! The sad reality is that they don't understand the motion of the planets and solar system so it comes as a shock to them when they see a poorly done/incorrect illustration of the solar system's motion relative to the galaxy and they don't even realize that it is poorly done and incorrect.

They don't understand reference frames at all and they desperately want to believe that those science classes they failed out of in school were fundamentally wrong. Like you said, they glom onto anything they can find that claims to be "revolutionary," even though they don't understand the thing it claims to contradict, in this case the heliocentric model of the solar system. Don't even try to tell them about barycentric coordinates or calculating the apparent "orbit" of the sun in a geocentric reference frame.
