Aye. I just bought myself a huge skymap with the North & South-sky as an accent for my room (For the Germans: Lidl currently sells them for 3euro)
I shall get a telescope on occasion and get familiar with the sky.

For now, Im learning more about the ground though.

BTW: A wobble would also heavily influence the "earth-dynamo".
As to what influence a "global wobble" would have on the rotating core, someone only needs to take a gyroscope at high-speed and try to violently "twich it" to see the results.

If such a wobble would indeed take place, that would be very worrisome, because we could find ourselves upside-down sooner rather than later.

My sister has Direct TV. If what Nancy says is true, then my brother in law would need to go outside every couple of hours and realign their dish since the satellites that provide the service are in a geosynchronous orbit.

hehe. There would be worldwide protests within DAYS if the TVs would be disrupted that way.

The SATCOM systems I work with wouldn't work.

One of the systems I work with has over five dozen sites in a very remote part of the country. There's no one around to re-adjust the one or two antennas each site has and these are systems that must be operating perfectly 24/7 with little to none human interaction other than remote monitoring. If the Earth was wobbling as Nancy says, they wouldn't be able to retain signal lock.

Mind you, these are systems critical to safety.

All are working perfectly using the two geosynchronous satellites they depend on.

Also, there's two 3.6 meter C-band antennas outside my office. In the three months I've been walking past them in and out of the office, neither one has required adjustment.

My GPS stopped working today, see nancy was right all along....







(OR a certain dumbarse plugged its charger into the 24v ciggy lighter socket on the dash instead of the 12v one, thus blowing the hell out of it...)

I had actually stopped following that thread, but I got into looking at idw's ramblings again and actually just reread almost the entire thread- and lo and behold after it was obvious I (as 3825 at the time) had stopped following and posting to the thread- a hoaxer comes in and deliberately changes my quote to something I never said

I`m also using my GPS very often and it is working perfectly. The prob with the dumbass stories of Nancy LIEDer is that she made them all up. It`s pure fantasy to fool the gullible and dumb ones.

As you said; the gullible & dumb. This world needs education to match available information.

(As an aside- WHY on dogs earth does a 24v truck HAVE both a 12v and a 24v cig lighter sockets- both accept a standard charger, but one blows up 12v equipment plugged into it and the other is only good for the 24v ciggy lighter (which was on the floor- hence me plugging into the wrong socket...)

indeed- to prevent me from hanging my waste bag off what `seemed' to be an innocently provided and otherwise useless `hook'

(as we can't smoke in company trucks anyway and I gave up nearly a year ago- its a very pretty `hook' for hanging a trashbag off of in my truck LOL)

UNTIL I hit a big pothole that pulled both the trashbag hook and my multicharger plug out of their sockets- as I usually work by feel when driving as its `usually' considered bad manners to look down and hit a car with a 12" thick steel trailer that will smash a car into crumpled alfoil and then I would have to repaint the small scratch on the trailer!

Don't know about this `direct' tv but there are many austar dishes that despite being little but rust- still manage to get signals....

(Austar is what many rural people here use to get the free to air tv signals from the sat and what many more use to get the paytv channels(cough ripoff cough) foxtel/auststar channels)

and if `goto' dish steering means two rusty old muffler clamps- then they indeed have `goto steering'



My ford also apparently has the need for 7 goto steerings on its exhaust pipe.....

She was 21 when she died so only the most shallow, childish of stories. Trust & hope are elusive and intangible. She could find neither. That is evident in her eyes. A lost soul. Lost to us who loved her more than life itself.
She would be 27 on the first of august; getting past that date without too much damage is my goal this year.
