What is amazing is how intense Ann's resistance to change became, right at the end. She became nearly hysterical in her attacks on us and defense of all things Zetatalk. It was like a healing crisis for her.

So that's from the ning? Amazing! But it's not like they ever pay attention to details proving Nancy wrong anyway. They have that page showing how to cover the sun with your thumb, but they accept all sorts of images where that test has NOT been done. There is no logic to their thinking at all.

It could be the straw that brakes the camels back with the minority of believers left, but then when you think of the big pole shift fail one never knows.

How many "believers" could be left. Amazing how long some people will cling to obviously bogus propositions.

Only a handfull left now. Since the failed 2012 fiasco quite a few woke up.

Nancy LIEDer got a victim of her own paranoia.

She is desperately looking for some attention. But even lower-rung internet radios don`t invite her anymore.

Her 7/10 scenario was a complete failure. She had to admit this.

Later she announced the announcement which was the next epic fail. The funny thing is that she still claims that Obama will mention her in his announcement.

Cult leaders can get victims of their own lies. LIEDer is the best example for it. She seems to suffer under strong symptoms of paranoia and Alzheimer`s disease.

The announcement only existed in Lieder`s sick head (together with Nobeeryou). Her Ning is a ghosttown. Only some old morons are left there.

I really wonder how she wants to explain the crazy idea of the announcement to her last bigots next year,- when it is time to collect some money again. This year she told them that the announcement was imminent.

The world has real problems and dangerous scenarios like Syria: nobody needs an old discarded cult leader like Nancy LIEDer or Blossom Goodchild anymore.

"Officially" there are around 230 members. But the vast majority hasn't contributed since the 2012 disaster.

Around 30 members are actively posting.

Too bad they don't conduct exit interviews when someone leaves the cult. Those would be a great read.

That was one of the things I *really* appreciated from MaTV, in his docs.

And thirty active members? How the mighty have fallen.

Unfortunately, having seen her recover from such failures in the past, I doubt it will slow her down for long...

She recovered from 2003,2005 and I do believe she will recover from this as well unfortunately

I suspect she will do the same trick she did in the past to boot- simply lay low for a while, find a new forum to recruit followers from again and start all over again with another new date

The only thing that will stop her in the end will be her health I suspect

Now that we are well past 2012 and no rumor-doom in sight other than the manmade conflicts, I must confess I doubt she will gain much more attention anymore.
The fact that she is old and the fact that debunkers collected very effective material also adds to it.

Who even knows if she still wants the limelight at all?

It appears she is quite happy about the slowly crippling death of her deception without significant outrages of her members.

But then you never know... Wisco Nightmares can appear out of the blue (this one is for Ninny)

What you say is true...but to recover this time she'll have to either allow free and open discussion on the ning OR come back to GLP. Let's face it - she was at her most popular when she was here. Each time she's gone to a site where she has complete control, her popularity has plummeted.

I see that Comet ISON, so far anyway, appears to be a big dud. Although that isn't keeping some people from predicting doom because of it.

true- but it has always been her operatus modus (sp?) in the past to do that (to a certain extent)- start with the `open' forum before gradually tightening control (I am thinking of the forum she had back 2004/5 I cant remember the name or I would look it up on the wayback machine

Admittedly she has to a certain extent `excess baggage' she didnt have in the past in that she has a wider net visibility she didnt have in 2003, but that didnt slow her down that much in 2005 in finding new suckers/converts- and I suspect that she would start again in a conspiracy `backwater' that she could downplay any debunkers long enough to get a reasonably solid local group of supporters then build again from that

(look at what she did here- I personally suspect that she actually had a major part in building glp up into a major player myself- I was here when it was elinors forum, and it was nothing like glp today- it was a relatively small forum, low traffic, pretty much another quiet little forum

Hopefully the ninny & ninnytardness will fall into ever increasing obscurity, where it belongs. I reckon she'll side step past failures & seek pastures (victims) new....the problem being that she's running out of dimwits (lost, unhappy souls).

unfortunately I dont see her running out of dimwits any time soon- a quick look at the forums first page shows that is unlikely- lol

Having watched her spin herself out of `white lies' before- I really see her getting a new fan baee (again) rather easily

not that I am happy about this (my personal preference would to see her locked away) but I am sadly unrealistic about that happening, and she unfortunately has `the gift of the gab' as we call it here- imho- she will bounce back again and will claim more victims

the only ray of sunshine is that her health is failing, maybe she will pass on before she claims anymore victims

I suspect the consensus to be “wonderfully creative humans”.

Personally, I wish that said circles were some type of communication with aliens or our future selves. I also suspect many of the “debunkers” and “shills” here share that wish which is contrary to what the woo woos might think of us. Most of us have an interest and attraction to strange phenomenon, but we need facts and proof before we invest in “belief”.

No idea! Some are damn clever tho, especially the Juliet set.

I like that, "wonderfully creative humans." I too share the hope that someday proof will surface that this is not the only planet harboring sentient life. But as you say, facts, facts, facts.
