I'm going to make a prediction. There will be a good number of UFO sightings in and around Phoenix tonight.
I was just taking out the garbage and noticed a large weather balloon to the east. The sun is setting at this time and I'm guessing this balloon to be at an altitude of about 100,000 ft., so this it will be fully illuminated when it is almost fully dark. It's pretty impressive looking so it will certainly freak some people out here. We will see what happens.

I could see how it might be confusing to some. It was about 1/8 the diameter of the moon and did change colors some right before it disappeared. I'm guessing it was probably one of the big balloons. I think they can be as big as about 500 ft in size and I'm not sure if that is circumference or diameter.
