Guy hit in head with .50 cal ricochet

His idea of 'packing it in' was a good one. you don't wanna mess around with that chunk.

It just bounced off...didn't even hurt really, but kinda scary anyways because I was being a dumbass and not wearing safety glasses.

My buddy thought it wasn't loaded and shot me in the face about an 1/8 of an inch below my right eye..

Old news !!

I've been shooting that caliber for almost 10 years....Anything I've used for a target has never, and I mean never caused a bullet to ricochet back in my direction...

What a freak event! I suspect they were very light loads, as I know from experience that using a 647gr bullet with 220 or so grains of powder, that thing is going thru at least 1 and 1/2 inches of steel....

How the hell did this happen?
