* HEP ME! * I have a well & the the pump is shot & the Water Guy tells me..
The pump and new pipes & labor cost $4,000.

Ok. I figured that.

Then the guy tells me that my water level is 25ft.
Back in 1999 the well was dug (680ft) and there was 135ft of water back then. I'm in Northern AZ.
Also, I was the only residential well in the valley.

In the last 10 years over 500 neighbors moved into this area, all drilling their own wells or sharing one.

What I need to understand is; Should I sell my place and move because the well is going dry or is this ordinary in all parts of the country?

I need input.

The Well Man said he cannot give me any answers because he simple keeps saying, "you still have water".

OH YEAH, I forgot one other thing;
The water I get now has more dirt and little rocks in it. I know because the water lines to my house were full of it.

Anybody? Share you experiences or give me insight to my situation?

What's the deal with needing new pipes?

You can bet the government is also pumping water out of your valley. How else will they be able to get people to move out of there and herded into the cities? They put all that rural land up as colladeral on the the federal Debt and its time the debt holder repossess their property.

Corrosion. The bottom 3 pipes were corroded with mineral deposits. They're each about 20ft long.

Funny thing, the pipes were made in Korea.

Whats else is not so good is that a mining operation opened up near the Grand Canyon and they mine for uranium.

How would that make you feel? I feel radiated, I'm telling you.

Thats what I figure. But who is really behind the Chinese? Its the chosen ones. They are the ones who come up with all this manipulation. No one else is evil enough....not even the Chinese......to figure out those evil tactics.

a good water filter system for starters. You can build your own for less than $100.

The pipes do not need to be replace but instead the water lines need to be cleaned out and flushed out to remove debris and then install a water filter system.

1. turn off power to pump at the well.

2. locate where the main supply line from the well enters the house.

3. cut the water line and drain excess water from lines. ( make sure to turn off water heater power /gas.) Before reassembling line install your filter system. You could adapt a swimming pool filter to work .

4. Take loose all supply lines from faucets, toilet, sinks.

5. Borrow/buy/rent a air compressor and air hose and make a fitting to fit from the compressor/hose to supply lines and turn compressor on and blow out the debris from the water lines.

I have done this and it works extremely great.

The pump for your well should cost between $350-$800 depending on the size of Horse power and gallons per minute/ PSI.

We live out in the country and are on a well for water but it is a shallow well 40 ft so somewhat different. I would think you have several problems. First, the influx of new homes is probably draining your aquafir along with the new mining project. Out West it is different then back here in the Midwest where water is plentiful. If you have only 25 ft of water and the level has dropped that radically I would question the wisdom that said stay where you are but the problem is your house is probably not saleable without your taking some form of action vis a vis water. The other problem is you are probably liable for disclosure as part of the sale. Knowing the water problems that exist in AZ I would suggest as quick a sale as possible.

they could install a secondary inground water tank that holds 500-1,000 gallons and install a line tapping into the well pipeline, but be sure to install a gate valve on the tank so you can shut it off when it is not needed.
