Rarely do I ever fall asleep watching a movie -- but this one was boring as all hell.

I hate all of those indie, artsy garbage films like Lost in Translation, The Royal Tenenbaums and The Darjeeling Limited.

Terrible, boring fucking movies... all of them.

No Country for Old Men

Finally got around to seeing "Slumbog Millionare", it was.... alright. Perhaps months and months of hype around any film will result finally in disappointment - but "Best Picture"? Yeesh, can anyone say slow Oscar season?

Seems to me like more of an indication that Hollywood's given up on anything that isn't 'blockbuster' or aimed at 14 year olds. So if you aren't willing to give best pic to "Iron Man" that means you gotta search around desperately for an easily translatable "foreign film" or some art house flick, on the assumption that people will mistake confusion for "brilliance".

Can't believe we got this far without mentioning:

Waterworld

Silence of the Lambs (gross, gross, gross)

Shakespeare in Love (beat Saving Private Ryan, give me a break)

Ironman (could not even finish watching it, it was so boring)

Matrix II and III movies (those brothers STOLE most of the Matrix I movie from Dark City, so they had nothing for Matrix II and II; Matrix II was so bad I laughed out loud a few times during a special midnight showing, and NO ONE else was laughing but the critics agreed with me later)

Even though I grew to like it...

Mostly because of the quality of the footage...

But The Dark Knight, for sure.

Napoleon Dynamite. Dumbest fucking movie ever. I laughed maybe twice during the whole movie. What a pile of shit. I can't believe it's so highly regarded.

Nowdays I don't have time to watch movies 'cause there's something called GLP that keeps me busy. At least till 9pm on Sunday nights. DEADWOOD reruns gets my attention then.

I hear ya, Deadwood kicks so much ass I could cry. Stupid HBO for cancelling it.

Working my way through BSG now - that's another fantastic series.

Actually, I've found myself more and more enjoying TV series on DVD as opposed to movies.

I completely agree with Titanic and Passion of the Christ. Basically, everything coming out of Hollywood these days is a re-hash with more blood, gore and special effects.
