I think it is more complicated.

Hydrogenated fake oils are always bad, but high cholesterol saturated fat oils can be bad if you have other blood conditions. In that case consuming high cholesterol foods can make the problems worse and result in serious problems.


High insulin can cause high cholesterol both of which the body produces and regulates. If there is an insulin issue it doesn't matter if you take cholesterol meds and resrict the cholesterol foods the chol numbers will still be high.


The government knows all of this and just pushes their drugs which cause other serious problems reported.
