Sure it does.
There are SO FEW absolutely sure things to argue about. Politics is perception. Philosophies can differ. Opinions can differ, and in many internet arguments, there is no resolution.
But Planet X? The way Nancy describes it? It's non-existence is a sure thing.
Totally.
It's a cult-meme with a definitive closing date. That's debating GOLD. There WILL be a resolution, even if the hardcore believers let the failure by, like many did in 2003. The debunkers can't lose. So of COURSE they'll hang on until the end of the race.
At which point, Nancy will attempt to start another. I expect she won't give ANY dates this time. |

The true believers shouldn't need to engage in this kind of bickering.
