Who knows? The original date could have been a mistake, or perhaps a way of making us think 'Wow, this thing has been planned for years!', or...the blog's admin is reading this thread & teasing us, lol.
23 june 2009 is in 5 days ...
But I agree that the time can be changed. But I think the date agree with the make-up on-the-fly theory. It seems people are acting in real-time to what we say.
But i'm asking myself if someone is not trying to get-in and get rid of some of us who would easily believe the Movie/Game ARG theory ...

It seems like glp is being spidered (possibly by that language thing from CMU) and that it parses the thread and creates new clues based off of what we say. It seems like clunky AI to me.

Here my take on this thing:
The maker(s) of the fictional slideshow is/are obviously testing sites like GLP and the ones I foolishly named above( some of them cause an autoban here).
In what I've read so far ( the thread on the DI-forum alone is 60+ pages long) there are some similarities:
1. threads on this subject tend to have a more-than-avarage amount of first-time posters, so I think we deal with a team here.
[not to say OP is one of them, I've been called a mossad agent just because I my post-count was low :-]
2. when the 'riddle' is solved this team moves to another forum to do the same trick.

I think mabey getting back to the basics of this thing would be best. jackblack12 and the blackjack series are the only hard evidense there is. Looping around and around is just becoming confusing. Whoever published blackjack knew that the site jackblack12.info would be found. There must be something were missing, because we all know this is not about a video game....its too coincedental and odd. |

I don't think this is about advertising.
It's an interesting but sick game.
Whoever plays it knows about symbolism and 'the dark side' of things.
If it's fiction I agree with the following, addressed to whoever is behind this:

Well if this is an AI from CMU, they have a program called "Alice" such as Alice in Wonderland...what a coincidence. Since I never believe surface stories that must be more to this program.
