I think this whole thing is a dis-info campaign. This is publicity for Jericho, but they are using this as a cover for actual drills to take place. The same thing they have done in the past. Anyone that say anything about these drills, or any plans uncovered, will be discredited as a cook who believes a comic on the web.
Why would this be publicity for jericho? this site and the others that are monitoring reach a very small market in the scheme of things. If that is true, it seems like a lot of work going into a very small populus!
The publicity, which is real, is not the important part. That is a cover for the dis-info. What is important is this site and the others that are monitoring reach a "Target" market in the scheme of things. That target market calls their local Representative and tells them to stop the drill, which is real, that is going to take place, or the attack that is planned, they will be dismised as someone reading to many comics on the web.
London 7/7
You finds out that someone is going to blow up a bus so, you contact the media to try to stop it. Media checks into it, and finds out a drill is going to take place involving an attack on a bus. Your now labled a paranoid nut.
It's an evil game, and what we are trying to learn are the rules. We know the outcome. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 696721
Of course how perfect like 9/11 & 7/7 both days they were running simulation drills, so any leaked info could be disregarded as being linked to the drills - very clever |

I agree....the 01 and 02 were not originally in the counter, it READ days, hours, etc, THEN it was changed. So, I don't think it's years. |

Then notice a small dot will appear right next to the second counter. Placing the mouse precisely over the dot will turn the mouse to a cursor. Could this little typo or glitch have something to do with it. Afterall. it is the one abnormality on the site. |

See, I thought I remembered the counter's being different earlier. What does it mean then, cause when I change the computer time/date, it takes it down from 01 to 00, and changes the day number to 365 |

I think it might just be buggy code. The entire site acts strange when you refresh it. That's happened to me. I've also had instances where the full counter image doesn't load. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 694248 6/18/2009 8:37 PM | | Re: operation blackjack another hidden message | Quote | Don't know if this is useful, but I will put it out for consideration.
When I drag and drop the barcode to my desktop, it is named "ge1.jpg". I did some searching on the internet about barcodes and found that there is an organization called "gs1.org" that has a global database that you can search.
I also tried to visually compare the "barcode" to various standards to see if it made any immediate sense. It appears to me that the barcode is stretched from left to right and squashed from top to bottom.
The only thing that seemed to peek my interest when searching for "ge1" on the internet was a reference to the chinese character. This may imply that this barcode follows a chinese standard. It is also possible that "ge1" stands for something like "government encoding 1" or "global encoding 1", etc. |
