Just received this e-mail from a friend who lives on Signal Mountain.
Her daughter is XXXXXXXXX, a physician with a hospice program in Chattanooga. Her husband, XXXXX, is an artist. I think both of them grew up in Chattanooga. I felt compelled to share this message with you for your own protection. This is scary. I hate that it is happening in Chattanooga.

Let me tell you what happened to XXXXXXX today, right here in Chattanooga. She was in her SUV at the intersection of Shallowford Rd. and Airport Rd. (Red light). Suddenly she was surrounded by 3 cars full of black men with one woman driving one of the cars. The woman got out and got in the road in front of XXXXXX with her arms out and screamed "what are you going to do, run over me...B!!) XXXXXX nodded her head, yes.....and floored it ....luckily she was able to get around the women and kept going. They followed her, but luckily she was able to get away. She said she ran all red lights before getting onto Highway 153. Just thanked God she didn't have a wreck. She had been on the phone with XXXXX when it happened, so told him what was happening and to call 911 and the police. He did, and the 911 lady called her back and stayed on the phone with her until she got away from them and a policeman showed up. She filled a report, but said the policeman didn't even ask if they were black, white, or Spanish. And yes it did happen in the middle of the day!!!!!!
Make sure you are aware of everything and everybody around you and that
your doors are LOCKED!!!!! A terrifying experience!!!!!!!!
