It was just a quick mention on the news. They are building a new facility complete with holding cells and high security. The thing is I live in the southwestern part of Virginia. We are not near any border nor is there any significant criminal activity anywhere near here. The only thing it could be for is we the people. But they only arrested 7 all of last year. They put about twenty agents in the thing. I don't know how much it costs to run an office with twenty agents a building vehicles etc but you wouldn't think it would be worth it to arrest a handful of illegals every year. |
