OK, here we are .... again. David Wilkins, from South Carolina and former US Ambassador to Canada in Ottawa and the Russian Ambassador to Canada in Ottawa are acquainted with each other.

Easily, I can see that Sanford would take a quick trip to Ottawa for a pre-arranged meeting with the English-speaking Russian.

Don't be foolish enough to bet that Sanford is left swingin' in the wind because news is leaked of his partay with the Russian Ambassador. Rather, more to the effect that the news "leaked" out cements Sanford's position with potential supporters and challenges his detractors.

GREENVILLE, S.C.--(Business Wire)-- After spending the past three-and-a-half years ... Ambassador to Canada David H. Wilkins is returning to South Carolina to join the law firm of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP effective Feb. 1. He will be based in the Firm`s Greenville office and will chair the Firm`s Public Policy and International Law practice group.

Laugh if you like, but that wording may be more correct that you realize.

There is too much going on in this state (South Carolina) to take the time to put in writing, plus everybody wants links and it takes a long time to look up all the links.
