Does it seem odd to anyone that the magnetosphere presure started going into the white when the eclipse started?
Could be an interesting combination. For myself I have been wigging out. When I frist started to feel wigged out I went to the magnetosphere site and low and behold the pressure started increading. It has really taken a toll on me today. |

That's the auroral area, if I'm not mistaken.
Bet they're getting a light show.
The last time I saw it like this (about 3 days after I joined GLP) & posted, my Satellite TV was going haywire & it was really hard to get a steady bearing w/ my compass

Scrump, these are caused on the sun by star fleet. There is purpose in this. Shit, I said I wouldn't post here again. Sorry I forgot. Go read the crop circles ok, forget me. These were promised......they are supposed to cause quakes, that's the point. And it's not a solar flare by earth definitions because there are no X rays with it. This is a completely normal CME. There have been other CME's the last month or so on the back side that show on LASCO C3 and Stereo A and B Cor 2 now and then also. Anybody interested can check my somewhat longer post on the holy shit thread.

I have heard this before where people are saying there is no appearant solar activity that is causing the preasure.
I just don't know enough about it.
There are posters that come along that know more than I that may have better explanations.
I always check spaceweather.com for info, but there's nothing there that indicates anything abnormal happening for a couple of more days (23rd, when the solar wind is going to increase due to exposure to a coronal hole...maybe early?)
It is not caused by STAR FLEET though....geez

low for the next three days (22-24 July).
I saw spaceweather forecast on the 18'th that a solar wind should reach us by today, but on the site it's now the 23'rd.

Also this, from your link, dated today...
yesterdays anticipated high speed
stream did not materialize as solar wind speeds held steady in the
range between 300-340 km/s. There was a possible second solar sector
boundary crossing back to negative polarity at about 1800Z.
So what am I supposed to pay attention to?
