You are right about Venus, sort of. Faux Venus will be up about 4:30 am. But it isn't Venus. Mars is covered with an object also. [link to www.youtube.com]

This was on Coast to Coast about an hour ago, objects mimicing stars.

SE Object - Check this out. We are on it ! Xtragal3 noticed it, and has videos here about it. I enhanced one of Xtragal's photos. It's there too.

I'm going to have to wait until it moves more SW. I'm in an apartment complex, and SE viewing means going out in the dark around the corner. My gut tells me it would be safe, but my head says aaagggghhhh!

Star Position: Southeast at about 45* up [I guess?? lol]

My area is very light polluted, so I can only see about 2 stars over head. Has a blue color to it. Vega?

It's Jupiter more than likely. Exremely bright in the SE at the moment, almost as bright as Venus.

if this were Jupiter, would it be this bright? I always saw it dimmer and yellowish but this is blue-whitish
