I don't think - umm - entities - are silly. They are highly sophisticated intelligent energy systems. They're just inept at doing things beyond their sanctioned remit. If they turned their attentions to doing what nature intended for them, every problem that ever is would be no more.
But for some absurd reason they believe there is another way through.
Yes, they believe most of the lies set forth by your extensive systems of deception. Can they REALLY be impugned for such?
My system? If I tell you that I'm intent on turning things upside down, and that the system which I aspire to be a part of is yet come to the fore, would you believe me?

Well, you'd be wasting your breath to tell me there is only one Way, as I've known such for quite some time now.
