She posted about it on her blog today:
"Michael Jackson knew "exactly how his fate would be played out" and feared his death would echo that of Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley wrote in an online blog posted Friday morning.
"She said her short marriage to Jackson -- from May 1994 until January 1996 -- "was not 'a sham' as is being reported in the press," but she divorced him because she was "in over my head in trying" to save Jackson "from the inevitable, which is what has just happened."
"Jackson talked with her about his death during "a deep conversation" 14 years ago about "the circumstances of my father's death."
"At some point he paused, he stared at me very intensely and he stated with an almost calm certainty, 'I am afraid that I am going to end up like him, the way he did,' " Presley wrote."

Seriously, this is amazing and sad.
Very sad indeed. At some point in our lives people do get a sense of where their life is going. Sometimes the sight is frightening, but we don't all end up where we plan. Sometimes you can't cheat destiny. |

Just how hard did she really try to help him? What exactly did she ever do?
Did she try to do even one single intervention?????
Sounds like she didn't love him in the first place. |

Have you lived with an addict? Because if you ever have you would also know that you don't immediately just say "screw it" and leave.
If someone you love has a problem, is your first response to just get away from them and leave. If so, you don't really love them at all.
At least try to do ONE intervention First before you give up on them.
Is there any evidence that Lisa Marie tried to do an Intervention?? Did she ask him to go to counseling with her?
Or did she just say "screw it" and file for divorce?? |
