Quoting: JJackF108Don't think I've ever seen Heaven With a Gun...I will have to look for it, I love westerns. This story reminds me of a tale I have heard about a Texas sheriff that went to church with his sidearm open carried in a leg holster. One of the older ladies eyed it and asked him, "Isn't that dangerous?" He replies, "Why yes, it is Ma'am." She says, "Are you expecting trouble?" "Nope, if I was, I'd have brought my rifle." |

"MAKE MY BIBLE DAY" or something like that...maybe someone out there could do better!!! Rebirth is possible in life, no matter how many tries it takes!!! I have an opinion, you just might not like it!!! |

Quoting: Evil TwinWe have more people packing in our church than a year ago. The pastor has a CCW permit and most of us have a piece that doesn't bulge and make the ladies nervous. But we have locked the side doors and the only entrance to the church is straight through the front door now, on Sunday morning. All the children's classrooms are accessible only through the main sanctuary and there's new rules for signing your kid in and out of the classrooms. We haven't had any direct problems, but other Texas churches have had moments of excitement recently. |

Sounds serious and interesting...what have been the "moments of excitement" in Texas that has brought this on??? Rebirth is possible in life, no matter how many tries it takes!!! I can't think of a better way to get shot, than to bring an unloaded gun to a confrontation. How stupid can you get? |

Sounds serious and interesting...what have been the "moments of excitement" in Texas that has brought this on??? Well, nothing like the drag queen perverts crashing a Sunday mass in San FranSicko or Palm Springs, or the Colorado mass murder shootings in church. But there's been a rash of crazies trying to get in locally, and whether they were just high or drunk or ?, they had to be forcibly removed. Incidentally, these incidents are making the Christian community pretty nervous, because persecution is a well-known element of end times prophecy, most of which has already occurred. We figure it's only a matter of time before some whack job tries to shoot his way into salvation. The Bible exhorts us to turn the other cheek, but it's not a suicide pact. (like the Koran, for example) |
