Was Michael Jackson Framed?
The Untold Story
Mary A. Fischer
GQ, October 1994
It is, of course, impossible to prove a negative—that is, prove that something didn’t happen. But it is possible to take an in-depth look at the people who made the allegations against Jackson and thus gain insight into their character and motives. What emerges from such an examination, based on court documents, business records and scores of interviews, is a persuasive argument that Jackson molested no one and that he himself may have been the victim of a well-conceived plan to extract money from him.
More than that, the story that arises from this previously unexplored territory is radically different from the tale that has been promoted by tabloid and even mainstream journalists. It is a story of greed, ambition, misconceptions on the part of police and prosecutors, a lazy and sensation-seeking media and the use of a powerful, hypnotic drug. It may also be a story about how a case was simply invented.

In June 2005, when Aphrodite Jones made her last appearance on The O’Reilly Factor related to the Michael Jackson trial, she experienced a striking moment of clarity:
"As I made one of my last public comments on the case,” she remembers, “I realized that I had become one of the media bunch who had predetermined the outcome of the trial, wrongly. Many people around me were so sure of Jackson’s guilt. Many reporters had slanted TV and radio coverage to suit the prosecution, and I was one of those folks who had followed that dangerous trend.”
Now, in a new book, Michael Jackson Conspiracy, Jones is setting the record straight. Aphrodite Jones's most daring book ever examines the case against the world's No. 1 entertainer: Michael Jackson.
Inspired by Jones's courageous writing, Thomas A. Mesereau, Jr., Jackson's high profile attorney, has written a powerful foreword for Michael Jackson Conspiracy.
Under the influence of media, the entire world has reached judgments about Jackson. The mainstream media report about him with an implicit judgment, while tabloid media write about him with an explicit judgment. In the face of this barrage of judgment, the resulting perceptions about Jackson have become aligned -- against him. It has become impossible for the public to reconcile its admiration for Jackson's genius musical and artistic talent with the harsh judgments against him. As a result of these seemingly irreconcilable views, it has become easier to ignore the good and focus on the bad.
For years now, we have been duped into believing that there has been only one side to a coin.
With the kind of behind-the-scenes insights that you have come to expect from Aphrodite Jones, Michael Jackson Conspiracy will shock you. Jones provides a fresh look at the man who has been at the center of so much success -- and controversy.
What emerges from Michael Jackson Conspiracy is an image of the vulnerability of the most powerful entertainer in the world. All of the myths you have been lead to believe will be shattered.
Everything you have come to know about Jackson will be upturned after you read Michael Jackson Conspiracy.
A book which will forever influence the way trials are reported, Michael Jackson Conspiracy will also move you with emotion. And it will help you complete the picture of the most fascinating entertainer in the world.

Anyone who is anyone should read this book! It clearly describes all the details that were left out of the popular news media during the trial of Michael Jackson. It also shows how people conspire together for their own profit, even if it means destroying someone else. So many people stood to make so much money if this man had been convicted, so they convicted him in the court of public oopinion. As a nation, we have become obsessed with celebrity gossip and propaganda, and more and more that is what is being reported, NOT THE FACTS! What happened to true journalism, showing all the necessary information so that we could decide for ourselves? I for one find it offensive, it is as if they are saying that the general public are not intelligent enough to decide for themselves, and that we are dumb enough to believe whatever they tell us! Also, with this trial the media is publicly implying that they feel our justice system FAILED! If you believe that, why wouldnt you fight to do something about it? If I truly believed that a jury was wrong, or paid off, or had some benefit in making a certian decision, I would call it a mistrial! Aphrodite, who was once reporting negative news during the trial, has seen the error of her ways. She reviewed all the court transcripts and documents and realized she was wrong. In this book she gives all the facts you never heard anywhere else. No one even wanted to publish it because they said people would only read smut, not something like this that was to the point and fair. Which, led her to publish it all on her own. She felt it was important that people hear all the facts, not only the smut that they have heard a million times. She took the high road and didnt even mention the many things such as race that others had previously mentioned. I think if you are interested in facts and true journalism, this book is for you. And if not, I think you should read it to prepare and protect yourself from the world we really live in where greed, money and lies are often in control! If it can happen to him, it can happen to anyone!

The background information about Neverland itself was all new to me. For example, it is only through reading this book that I realised that Michael Jackson's bedroom was not at all like the type of bedroom most of us have, i.e, just one room. Jackson's was a huge two storey, mezzanine construction - more like a flat than a room. I'm not saying Jackson was wise to have boys staying in his room (nor in his bed) but once you realise just how big this space was it kind puts a different perspective on these sleepovers.
Aphrodite Jones also reveals that Jackson himself was not at Neverland for much of the time; it was his home but it was more a social experiment, an escape for children who were sick or poor. It's such a shame it didn't work out. If he had lived elsewhere but just run the place as a separate entity/charity things might have turned out differently. Or if only he'd only have stuck to surrounding himself with animals rather than other peoples' children he'd be viewed by the majority as eccentric rather than potentially dangerous or evil.

And an ungrateful street smart kid, who suffered from an unknown cancer, was almost at death's door entered Jackson's life. Jackson offered in kindness his home and the best medical treatments to help him heal. One should have been truly grateful.
Instead the young man sought revenge because the life he was getting adjusted to was now coming to an end. Payback was all he could think about.
Twisted evil minds don't stop there; let's not forget the mother, who is the mastermind in all this...their mother who taught her children so well, to lie and other things...went after Jackson with a vengeance.
Because of his kindness and being naïve and his eccentric ways, Jackson's world had been ripped apart. He was humiliated and scorned. His private life no longer his, was viewed daily in court by reporters' from all over the world.

Oh for fucks sake, what a self absorbed thread hopper the OP be.
If you had any consideration for yourself and the GLP community at large you would have placed your information in the already existing thread of the same topic. That is basic blog etiquette...as has been said a million times before (and will to be repated a million times more again).."Use the fucking Search"
and stop your whining, its quite unbecoming of a gentleman or gentlewoman.

I used the fucking search and didn't find a single thread about conspiracy to frame MJ..
The existing Jordan Chandler thread is based on a fake news story. Why should I place genuine articles and books written by well known journalists documenting his framing in a hoax news story thread? The honest man must be a perpetual renegade. |

| name1234 User ID: 758141 8/28/2009 3:59 AM | | Re: The Untold Story - How Michael Jackson was framed | Quote | He was innocent, there is so much evidence to prove this that I don't even know where to begin.
NO ONE who thinks he was guilty has actually researched the case and looked at the facts, the evidence, the backgrounds of the families.
You do realize the courtroom was laughing hysterically at the claims Gavin Arvizo's mother was making during the 2005 trial? That Michael Jackson was trying to kidnap her in a hot air balloon?
And what about all those witnesses; in both 1993 and 2005, children who'd stayed at the ranch all came and said, absolutely nothing sexual had occurred, and that they saw MJ as one of their best friends.
What about the fact that the accuser was discovered to have started taking acting lessons as soon as his mother decided to testify?
What about the fact that Gavin Arvizo and his brother gave totally different accounts of what happened, and changed their story multiple times?
I don't think the MAJORITY thought he was guilty; the media just tried to paint it that way, but he got right back on top, with albums like History; and again after 2005, he was still a very much loved man, with millions of fans who could read between the lines.
Yes, the media are definitely real bastards. Of course they tried to paint MJ as guilty; in some ways, they were as corrupt as the accusers.
Some of the boys who stayed at Neverland are about 26 now; NONE have come forward and 'changed their minds'- all remained friends of Michael, as did their families, who said that they considered Michael to BE their family.
If you think he was guilty, read the article, read about the case on wikipedia or wherever, watch some of his interviews on youtube; you'll see that there is FAR more evidence to suggest that he was innocent than otherwise, and that what he was accused of simply WAS NOT IN HIS CHARACTER. |
